I sized up after reading reviews that this ran small. It was definitely roomy and comfortable so I could have gone with the smaller size, but it is structured well enough so the bigger size didn't look sloppy. Very festive and didn't require any shapewear.

IT HAS POCKETS!! I rented this for a cocktail/black-tie optional event and felt that it was the perfect dress either way. Even as a 36C/D, I felt supported without the need for any bra aside from the structure built into the dress. The zipper was a bit wonky on the dress I rented, making me worry the dress ran small but once it was past the seam it fit fine. I was glad that I chose to the larger of my two average sizes. I received so many compliments on this dress and will definitely return to this designer in the future!

I sized up in this dress after reading other reviews. I might have been happier with the smaller size, but there is no stretch to the dress at all so it would have been a close thing. That said, it was big at the waist so I felt somewhat shapeless in the waist but didn't have a belt that worked. I didn't get a full length shot, but included the picture of the neckline to show that there isn't as much contrast at the neck as I was expecting from the picture. I was pleased but not thrilled. Fun for a date night at the symphony but too plain for the holiday party I had originally planned to wear it at.
