Lots of compliments
I loved this dress and the 8R fit perfectly at the waist and chest, plenty of room for eating, drinking and dancing and it didn't feel tight at all. However the length was way too long for me at 5'2" even with my tallest heels. This one might not be for the shorter girls!

Wore this at a wedding where many women wore formal floor length gowns. It fit right in, the texture and structure of the dress made it more formal than it might seem. I received lots of compliments. It was a touch tight but I wouldn't have wanted to go with any larger- I think the large is a size 8-10. I loved it!

A great dress for a spring wedding shower.
I really liked the fit of this dress. It was comfortable, even in the arms/shoulders where other reviewers had said they felt a little tight. I wore it to a bridal shower where I was moving around a lot and lifting gifts and had no trouble. I ordered a 6 and an 8, I wear both sizes frequently but for this dress, I definitely preferred the 8. There wasn't a lot of give in the 6 around the waist and ribs. One thing to note is there are pretty sharp pointed shoulders. It's a nice look and adds a little something to the dress, but it does give a little more formal feel than I was expecting. I'm 5'2" and I thought the length was perfect.

This was perfect for a summer wedding!
I knew to order at least a size up from other reviewers, and I was glad I did. The waist isn't very forgiving, but it wasn't uncomfortable. I was pleasantly surprised with the lace cap sleeves because I often run into a problem with that style sleeve cutting into my wider shoulders, and didn't have that problem. Overall, I was glad I went with a size up but the dress was very comfortable to wear and dance all night!
