The simmer and color in person is perfect! Subtle enough to not be over the top, but just enough to have a pop of fun color. The bottom is very comfortable and flowy, there is a shorter skirt/slip underneath. The top is like a coursette and pretty structured, with not much give. My zipper needed a little extra nudge to get over the seam between bottom and top, so I could not zip on my own. With the top being so fitted and snug, I did not need to wear a bra, nor would it have fit. It felt pretty secure without and overall I would wear again. They didn't have a medium available, but I'd also think the top may have been too lose.

Really loved this dress! I did the size 4 and 8, since the 6 was out. The 4 fit great around the waist, with a little room. The arms were a little snug, but I carry a little more meat on my arms. The lace kinda gave to stretch a bit and was comfortable for the night. The skirt, lower half, has a great lining under the lace and made it feel girlie. I didn’t think it was too short. Would rent again!

I ended up just buying the dress instead of renting based on the deal. I wore for a friends bridal shower and really enjoyed the fit. It has a little clasp/hook for the V neck, but it also looks good without using that, I did not use the hook. It's a bit short, but you're still covered. I don't mind short clothes, but if you're borderline on that feeling, I would pass. It does wrinkle, so that's why I did 4 instead of 5 since that will be a little annoying to deal with, but solid dress overall.
