I’ve been renting from rent the runway for 7 years and have never once been disappointed. Every year I go to a formal event and every year everyone tells me I have the best dress there and I always tell them it’s a rental!! More people should really be using this service. This dress was a stunner. I originally had on the 8 and it fit but I was hoping it would be just a tiny but tighter. I didn’t think going down a size to a 6 would be an option but it fit and made me feel like I was really in there and the dress would not slip through the night. Most dresses from here are usually hard to get the zipper up. My husband had quite the time getting this zipper up. We ended up having to use a little soap on it to get it to go up. I loved this dress and it had pockets! I’m 5’8” around 155lbs.

Everyone said this runs small. I'm sure it depends on your body type. I am bigger from my hips down, but thin at the waist so I ended up wearing a size smaller than normal. I ordered my normal size 8 but the 10 was not available (thinking I needed the size up). When it came it seemed to be a little loose. I paid to have the 6 shipped to me and IT FIT LIKE A GLOVE! I'm 5'8" around 152lbs. This dress was perfection. It was actually not something I would typically order for myself with the flowers being all over it, but I'm so glad I got it because it was soooo beautiful. Order it right away! You won't regret it. I got a million compliments. I felt like a princess. I wish I could just walk around town in this every day. Remember, always order your size and the backup in the same dress (if possible) and have it arrive 2 days before your event so that you have enough time to call and get something overnighted if it doesn't work.

This gown was incredible. This is the same designer as my wedding gown and I just loved wearing it. I mean, it has pockets...hello! I was also able to wear workout leggings underneath for added warmth. I ordered a 6L, but I'm pretty sure they sent me the 6R. It was fine, but I had to wear flats and would have loved an extra inch in length. The 6L with 2" heels would have been better. The material and fit were amazing. Love, love, loved this dress.

This fit true to size. I am 5'9", got the 8L and wore about 3 inch heels and it was the perfect length with the heels. The material was thick (perfect for the winter) and I was actually able to wear workout leggings underneath for added warmth and no one was the wiser! I got so many compliments!

This dress was so fun to wear. It was amazing to dance with and it has pockets! I repeat. It has pockets. I'm normally a size 8 but can size down if it's just fitted in the top. Unfortunately the 6L was not available but the 8L still did the job. It was heavier material which made the skirt part look so amazing. It might be hot for a summer wedding though.

I got this dress for family photos and I wore it to a birthday high tea beforehand. I got so many compliments! The dress fit perfect except the neck which was a little too tight. I just left it partially unzipped which was no big deal because I wore my hair down. I love the dress and the material was light weight but seemed high quality. I wish I owned it! The dress fit perfect. I'm 5'9" and the 6R was perfect length to wear flats. You could probably get away with flats if your 5'8" or 5'10" otherwise I would choose a different length. I got so many compliments on the dress! I just loved it.

This dress was amazing. So much so that I feel like I will never rent another dress that come close in comparison. I am 5'9" 146lbs. The 6R fit perfect and was the perfect length to wear with flats. I had so many random people come and tell me how much they loved the dress. My facebook comments were all about the dress and not the event, ha! I don't think it's possible to wear a bra with this and it worked out fine for me. I didn't even have to wear sticky tape. The color and fit of the dress were so flattering. I LOVE this dress!

This fit perfect! If you are wider in the mid section the band area might be tight, but I would hope that picking the right size dress would compensate for that. I ordered a 8R and a 10R (I wear both sizes depending on where I get my clothes from). The 8 fit perfect. The only issue we had was there was a kink in the zipper so it took us some time to get it zipped up. It did zip though! This dress was very flattering and it was really comfortable too. I wore about a 1" wedge heel. I could have worn flats and that would have been fine too. If you are 5'9" and want to wear taller heels I would suggest the tall size. If you are over 5'9" I would definitely order the tall size. Getting the dresses and returning them was a super easy process. They have it all organized and return labels printed for you. Will definitely use this service again!
