This dress understands the assignment; sleek, elegant, great fit, extremely flattering. Even though it is velvet, as long as you're in an indoor venue, it isn't too hot. The neckline is wider than the picture shows though - much more off the shoulder. I wore some small black velvet cap sleeves under the dress to modify it for my occasion.

I wore this to a concert, and it was beyond perfect! I felt very dressy and done up, but was completely comfortable and able to dance the night away without a care in the world. It also is such a unique coloring, I felt very original wearing it. Lots of other girls at the concert were wearing the same thing or another version of the same thing, but I was the only one in my look. It felt great!
