I am so bummed, I didn't try the dress on before the day of the event. I meticulously read every review before hand to ensure the perfect fit. Needless to say, I couldn't wear the dress and couldn't return it for credit back. (My fault-- I should have tried it on the second it arrived!) It was just wayyy too short. I knew that it was going to be on the shorter side going in, but women taller than me were saying it still worked for classy events like weddings. Not in my opinion-- at all. I normally wear a size 4 and the 6 fit better everywhere but in the length.

I ordered this dress, pre Hurricane Sandy for a cocktail party a couple of days after it. I was surprised the dress made it for the occasion! Kudos, RTR! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get my back up size. (Totally understandable.) I had ordered both a 2 & a 4 after reading the reviews but was only sent the 2. The 2 fit, but it was a little snug in the chest area. I wore the dress anyway, and got compliments all night, but I do think that the 4 would have been a little more comfortable. I loved the shape, the pockets, everything about it and I would recommend anyone on renting it for a cute alternative to the LBD.

Trust me, this dress is gorgeous. Light and comfortable. Unfortunately, I had to return it though because it just didn't work for the event! The dress is incredibly long, and it would have worked great if I had 5 inch wedges to wear with the dress, but I wanted to wear flats as I was hosting a bridal shower for the day. I wanted to love it so much, but it just didn't work out. Another thing, I am convinced that the dress runs large not just in length. Depending on designers I can wear up to a 6 and I was still "swimming" in an XS, in the top portion. Next time, RTR!

My first Herve Leger evening and I am hooked. It hugs and flatters your figure to perfection. The color is a little more lavender than what you see online-- but that made it that much better. I was able to wear a regular bra and undergarments with it-- but I did have to pin the back of my dress to the bra band for extra security. The ONLY reason why I didn't give this dress 5 stars was the fact that it did look a little worn...

I rented this dress for an afternoon, outdoor wedding in June. Let me start off by saying this was my first experience and trust me I was nervous-- waiting until the day before to find out if it was going to fit. But I was MORE than happy with the dress!! I have never received so many compliments in one night before and I felt gorgeous. I normally wear a 4 or even a 6 in some things, but the 2 fit perfectly. I wore glitzy flat sandals for dancing and the length was perfect. I am sure that I could have worn the 4 if I wanted to wear a larger heel, but I didn't even try it on. The color, flow and everything about it was absolutely stunning and not to mention how comfortable I was! Thank you RTR for making my evening one to remember-- I am proud to say I am hooked!
