Definitely runs a bit large and to be honest the 6 fit similarly to the 4. I'm 5'7" 148lbs and a DD and I chose the 4 for a more snug fit but the 6 would have also worked. I was also able to wear a regular bra with it, just pulled down the band slightly in the back and it stayed all night. The pockets were clutch and the fuller skirt made it work for a black tie wedding!

Overall this dress was solid! It was right in the hips for me which caused me to have to pull it down frequently during the night but it was flattering and my DD chest fit into the medium which was a relief. For reference I'm 5'7" about 145lbs. The only other slightly annoying thing was it kept twisting around and I had to constantly twist it back so the zipper was aligned. Other than that solid rental!! I kind of wished I could've bought it!

I was very pleased with this dress! I rented it for a traditional wedding in Ireland, where the guests tend to dress up more formally and fashionable than in the US. It paired nicely with my fascinator and hit right at the knee. I ordered a 6 but ended up wearing the backup size 4 because it hugged my waist better. Only thing was it was a bit tight in the arm holes. This is a perfect dress if you're busty / hourglass shaped like me because you can wear any bra/undergarments with it, and it shows just a tiny bit of cleavage.
