I rented this for my engagement photos, and HOLY WOW. It was perfection.
Like all the other reviewers say, this baby is tight in the sleeves. It's why I hadn't rented it after lusting after it for ages. So when it was time for engagement photos (AKA no dancing required), I knew this was the one! I'm small chested, and even with padded sticky boobs, it was still a little roomy in the chest. Fortunately, it wasn't super noticeable and I went with it anyways. I wore it with 3-inch heels, and it was the perfect length on me (I fall somewhere between 5'6" and 5'7"). I DID add crinoline for added volume, like I do with all ball gowns, and I think it added a bit more glamour. The color is a beautiful deep red, and, like all women, I loved that there were pockets. Happy renting, y'all!

Best Dressed at the Gala!
From the moment I walked in, people were raving about this dress. I was told by multiple people that my boyfriend and I were the best dressed at the gala. It was a thick fabric and beautifully made. At 5'6"/5'7" and an undisclosed weight ( ;) ), I'm usually between a 4L and a 6R and had to go with the 6R on this one as it was a little tight in the ribcage. I'm small chested though, so I had to add a little padding to fill out the top part. I also bought a crinoline skirt to make it a little fuller, but it was pretty even without it!

LOVED IT-- Plus, hello, pockets.
I got loads of compliments, and it was incredibly slimming. I'm small up top with a bit of a tummy and thicker thighs, and the full skirt hid all my problem areas.

Definitely large in the chest, so size down if (like me) you have the chest of an eleven year old. Up close, it's teeny tiny sequins, which I didn't love, but from further than a foot away it looks like you're wearing liquid gold and it was AMAZING! My date was peanut sized so I wore flats, and the dress was just a bit long. One inch heels would have been perfect, except I don't own any heels that little. You won't regret ordering this dress. Fo' realz.
