Hi Meredith, I'm having the same problem with the 2L being unavilable, thinking of the 2R. I'm 5"6 and 126 lbs. I would rather not rig the dress with safety pins if I know in advance I'll have the same problem. Would you mind giving an estimate of your weight so I can guess and possibly adjust my order? Thanks! KW

This is a fantastic dress!

It's funny how some styles remain classic --- in my possession is a gown that I bought way back in the Seventies --- it is most nearly the same style and silhouette as the one you are wearing --- the color was sort of a tomato red and the bodice (where the gather is on that dress) had a vertical rhinestone pin.  It had spaghetti straps....but otherwise it is most nearly the same dress.:)

This dress was a beautiful and I got a lot of compliments! Unfortunately, they only had the 2R available for my date when I ordered it so I got the 4L as backup. The 2R fit perfectly and was really comfortable but unfortunately was much too short. I ended up having to rig the 4L with a handful of safety pins, fashion tape, and a prayer to get it to stay up but it worked out and I felt great.
