This was the perfect dress for the Navy Ball! It wasn't too flashy, but it was elegant.
The 16 and 14 actually both fit, but I was able to get the 16 in the long so I ended up wearing that size because I thought it looked better. It was a little loose at the waist, but not enough to have to pin, and no one but me noticed. Great dress!
