I am typically a size 8-10 but after reading prior reviews I rented the 4 and the 6 - and went with the 4! Even at that, the cut of the dress is very triangle like. Initially I wasn't sure if I was going to wear it (had tried it w a belt and it wasn't great on me) but I went ahead and wore it as-is and got TONS of compliments throughout the night! Easy to move/dance/eat in and then some. Length is petite friendly. Sad I won't have the occasion to wear it again!!

Although I got quite a few compliments about the dress I felt pretty self conscious - this definitely felt like a much smaller size. I have a generous bust and carry a lot of weight in my midsection which wasn't a great match for the cut of the dress. I had to wear a shelf bra to make the boobs somewhat fit/not pop out. Length wise it worked for a petite height!
