Beautiful print, feels great, hangs perfectly
I really loved this dress, and was sad when our plans changed and I didn't get to party in it, but I tried it on a few times around the house. I was worried I'd look like I was wearing a fancy bedsheet, but the magic of the [gorgeous] print and the nice drape make it elegant and flattering. I experimented with belting it out of curiosity but, IMO, it looks better without a belt. I'm between a 12 and 14, so I sized up to 14 for maximum length. It hit right above my feet and looked nice with the rose gold flat sandals I had planned to wear. I would definitely rent this again.

Felt great, got allllll the compliments
Tl;dr version: perfect gown for lazy ppl who want to look amazing. This was the criteria I was hoping to meet for a gown for a black tie fundraising gala: -Not revealing (I’d be sitting with my husband’s conservative bosses) -Fit the event’s “diamonds are forever” theme -Wouldn’t need to wear a strapless bra -Would work for cold weather without requiring a jacket -Eye catching, edgy and youthful if possible -Low effort! Didn’t want to have to shave my legs, get a spray tan, find a necklace to wear, etc I picked this dress because it fit all of the above criteria and still felt like I could do kind of a youthful rocker vibe with my hair and makeup. What I WASN’T anticipating was that I would break my wrist six days before the event and have a thick cast going over my lower arm and half my hand. I was certain that the long sleeve dress would not fit over my cast, but miraculously it did because there were ✨zippers at the cuffs✨! I couldn’t believe my luck. I thought it was going to be more of a brighter, paler silver, but it was a darker pewter color, which I actually loved more for my personal style, and for being able to wear black shoes with it. There were some purple tones to it too. I was expecting a column dress just based on the picture, but it was more of a mermaid silhouette, which required more shape wear than I thought it would need. It fit like a glove, but I was a little self-conscious of my belly and the way that dress and the light-catching sequins hugged those curves. I wouldn’t say I should’ve sized up though, since the sleeves were plenty long, and the length was right at the feet. There were a few spots at my neck where the sequins kind of irritated my skin, but I put some ointment on them before bed, and they were fine by the next morning. Overall, it was absolutely a win. I got a ton of compliments all night long. It definitely fit the assignment of being a low effort, high impact look.
