I am in love with the bright colors of this Kate Spade dress. I also very much liked that the sleeves are slightly capped. The fit was great. The dress was not delivered with the belt so I had to wear one of my own. The negative of this dress is that it is the typical Kate Spade cotton fabric that wrinkles easily and looks a little messy by the end of the day.

Instead of opting for the typical black dress for a formal event I was attending, I decided to break out of my comfort zone (after all, isn't that the point of Rent the Runway?) with this beautiful cobalt blue gown. The 38R was unavailable so I rented the 38L and bought some Hollywood Secret hem tape (which worked miraculously well!). I taped up the front hem of the dress about 5 inches so the 38R probably would have been about right. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this dress. The fit was just perfect. I lean to being more pear shaped so this dress accentuated my hips and the off the shoulder straps helped widen my top to give me more of an hourglass figure. The fabric was tight and stretchy but was thick enough to help hide imperfections. Be prepared for tons of compliments! I have a feeling I will be renting more dresses by this designer!

I was invited to a fundraising event where the guests of honor were the designers behind the brand Badgley Mischka. I was so happy to that I found this dress to wear. The designers and their team immediately recognized the dress and complimented me. I loved the elegant neckline and the design helped give the illusion of a small waist. Be warned though that if you have hips like I do, the dress will be very tight (but stretchy) in that area. I wore spanx to help smooth things out. I am also only 5 feet tall so the dress was long on me hitting about 5 inches below my knees and the sleeves were just slightly too long.

This was a cute spring dress in a fun print. The fabric was high quality; however, it was getting a bit worn. Length was great since I am only 5'0, and was work appropriate after throwing on a cardigan. Received many compliments! I can usually either wear a 0 or 00 but I am glad in this instance I ended up getting the 38 instead of the 36.

I absolutely loved the beautiful spring colors of this versatile dress. The fit was great and even though I am short, it was a great length hitting about at the knee. The fabric was light without being see-through. I paired the dress with nude Italian leather driving moccasins and felt like I should have been strolling around the Italian countryside. The only con is that it got wrinkled by the end of the day and lost the crisp appearance that it started with.

This dress was made of a thick, high quality fabric with an interesting print. I loved the fit of the dress. It was sort of a drop waist but the upper part of the dress was still tailored. It was a great length hitting above the knee without being too short. I was able to wear it to church and to work and received many compliments.

Beautiful spring dress in a great neoprene-like fabric. I am 5'0" so this dress was a little long hitting around the bottom of the knee. I could not have worn it with flats but it looked great with a high heel. I was afraid it was going to be too sheer but with nude undergarments it was just fine. It transitioned well from work to a fundraising event that night. Also, it had pockets!
