I rented this for my sister-in-law's wedding. The dress was beautiful, but I think I would have been happier with a different dress. The waist looked like it would be slimming and maybe it was just not the best fit for me, but it found it was a little unflattering in some of the pictures that came from the wedding. I haven't seen any professional photos yet, but the ones I have seen seemed to make me look wider which is already an insecurity of mine. Again, a gorgeous dress, but if you have any worries of looking wide from straight on, I'd avoid this dress. Thankful for the insurance too, after my husband's cousin knocked into me, spilling champagne down the front (the material makes a drop of anything wet very noticeable)!

I rented this dress for my husband's Marine Corps Ball. I ended up wearing the blue draped Badgley Mischka dress, but this was an amazing dress. I don't quite have the chest for this dress, so I would say bigger than a 32-34A/B would be a better fit. A tan would also be helpful - something I don't have in November :) I would definitely consider this dress in the future, I loved how sparkly and fun this was, yet still elegant and I didn't find the sequins irritating at all.

I got a 6 and 4R ordered. A day before my dress was to ship, RTR called to tell me they only had one dress they could send me. I was unsure of the sizing, so I selected another dress, a gold sparkly Badgley Mischka. The dresses arrived the next day as planned, but RTR was cool enough to send me both sparkly gold dresses and this sparkly blue in the one size they did have. Surprisingly to me, the blue fit - I was sure it would be too tight or not long enough. Both were just fine. I typically wear a 6 and I'm almost 5'9" so wearing a 4R was kind of awesome :) I will say though, the dress draping must have gotten flipped around when it was shipped and I COULD NOT figure out how to wear it for, I kid you not, 25 minutes. I finally figured it out after staring at the picture on RTR! Once I got it figured out, I was very happy with the dress. I was not irritated by the sequins and I was complimented on all night in the days to follow when pictures popped up on Facebook. I wore this to my husband's Marine Corps Ball and found it to be very tasteful, elegant and fun - very appropriate for the Ball!

The dress has a button at the nape of the neck. The button was literally hanging by a thread when I got it. At the wedding I was at, there was a bathroom attendant that re-sewed the button back on for me, so then I had no issues. I was a little annoyed that the dress would come in that condition, but thankfully it was fixable and I was not penalized. In the picture I have uploaded, you can see why this button would be important as the dress does fit nicely along the shoulders.
