I am usually a size 2, but I ordered a 2 and a 4 since I had had a baby 3 weeks before my formal event, and I wasn't sure if I could fit back into a 2 by that point. I thought this dress would work well for a post-baby belly since it was fitted at the top and flowing at the bottom. Unfortunately, both the 2 and the 4 were too long in the top, causing the top to gap and the neckline to be far too low on me. I do have a shorter torso, and I think that was the issue. Still, the dress was gorgeous and I was sad not to be able to wear it.

I loved this dress so much that I'm renting it for another wedding at the end of the month. It's a versatile dress that you can style differently depending on the accessories. I got many compliments and was very comfortable in the dress the whole night. The 2 was a bit big on my torso, but it wasn't so big that it looked bad. I actually liked that it had a bit more room since it was on the short side.

I wore these with the Nicole Miller Psychedelic Sweetheart Gown to a formal NYE party, and they were the perfect color to bring out the light blues in the dress. I got many compliments on the complete outfit that night, but I got more compliments specifically on the earrings. Also, the weight of these earrings was perfect (and surprisingly light for the earring size). I was able to wear these for 6+ hours and didn't feel them pulling on my ears at all. These earrings would be stunning, too, with a black cocktail dress or gown - just the right pop of color.
