This jacket is a bit cropped and lands just above the hipbones - zip it up for a figure-hugging silhouette or let it hang open for a more badass vibe. I'm a petite girl with broad shoulders, and the size M fit well, although a bit tight. One thing I didn't like: The attached belt and buckle hang awkwardly and make noise, so I tucked them back.

The color, cut and material are all spectacular. It's beautiful, elegant and versatile. There is a sizeable keyhole in the back, which might not make it work-appropriate for everyone, but it does add a nice edge. Sizing is a little generous but overall I'd say this runs true to size; definitely wear with a slip, as the silk is slightly sheer.

This dress was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a gala event. I'm short (about 5'3) and the size 6R was just long enough to skim the floor in the front and leave a small train in the back. The chest area was a little big, presumably intended for someone more well-endowed than an A cup, but because of the cut and detailing, you couldn't tell. The side zipper is terrible, very hard to zip even when it wasn't on me. I didn't find the sequins too scratchy on my arms, but others might be bothered by it. I loved the look: Perfectly classic, speaks for itself, neither too understated nor too loud. 10/10 would rent again
