I liked the chic style of the metallic/black combo and ties as straps. Unfortunately, the zipper was very difficult to maneuver (even when it wasn’t on) and the lining made it the dress ill-fitting over my thighs/rear. If you’re curvier, or have a rounder belly, this dress is not as forgiving as you might prefer. I recommend going up a size for comfort. Very disappointed - didn’t even wear it to my event.

I wore this for a gala event themed around color, and this dress delivered! The blue is more vibrant and rich in person - it is an extremely beautiful hue. I wore the longer version with flats because I prefer my dresses to brush the floor. The silhouette is classic, and the biased ruffles in the front were just right to make it stand out. It was very comfortable - I recommend wearing shapewear for smooth lines. I also wore a strapless bra because the top cut in just so that bra straps would have kept peeking out (maybe a halter/racerback strap could work). I received compliments all night - you will definitely stand out in this dress. Perfect for black tie events.

I wore this to a concert and it was such a hit! Received so many compliments from total strangers. People were asking my friend and I for our pictures (we were both in head to toe sequins). You will feel like a rock star. It is low-cut, however I was able to wear a regular black bra which peeked out ever so slightly but not so much that it noticeably stuck out. I also recommend wearing Spanx as it is form-fitting. The colors of the sequins are gorgeous in person. If you have long hair, be aware that it may get caught on the sequins (so you may want to wear up/off the shoulders). If you're concerned about it being too tight, I would consider going a size up. That said, it was very comfortable - would definitely rent again. Makes for a perfect NYE/Bachelorette/girls night out dress!

Rented as 2nd look and didn't wear it - there was slight gap on either side of the chest area. I think this could have been easily fixed with the right bra or fashion tape (didn't have those) or adjustable neck straps. The dress is extremely comfortable and if you wear a size up you can probably get away without wearing Spanx. The color is absolutely stunning in person - such a rich, bright blue that I'm sure would grab a lot of attention. I wish I could have worn this for my event! Would rent again with better prep next time :)

I felt like I was at the Oscars in this dress. It is so beautiful and simply elegant - I wore it for a gala. Color was a little more teal in person (looked closer to a blue online). The slit came up to above my knee but never felt revealing (keep that in mind though if you're in a colder climate). It fit perfectly - never had to make any adjustments while wearing it. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because some of the boning had come loose and poked into my side (I fixed this with duct tape along the lining for a last minute fix!). That said, the boning didn't feel restrictive or uncomfortable. Recommend wearing Spanx. Also wore flats because I like my dress hem as close to the floor as possible. I got so many compliments and "head turning" moments...would definitely rent again save the boning issue.

I loved this dress! Wore to a gala where most people were dressed in black or gold, so the bold color really stood out. The tone was much richer and more beautiful in person - you will definitely stand out! I received so many compliments on this dress and thought it was very figure flattering. It's also incredibly comfortable. Would absolutely rent again! I felt super glam :) Practical details: I wore the long because I don't like a gap between the hem and the floor, so I needed to lift the hem any time I took the stairs or walked outside (not a big deal for me but might be for some). I didn't have the right bra so I skipped wearing one - plan for strapless or cups. My one "nit picky" thing is that the zipper (on the side) had very minor buckling (I think I was the only one who noticed).

I wore this for a charity gala - received so many compliments! It's a very comfortable dress and didn't feel too heavy (which is typically the case with sequined dresses). I had to go a size up because of my thighs and wish I could have had the Long version to wear heels (I had the regular length and wore flats and there was about an inch or less gap from the floor - depends on your preference). I would rent again if the right length is available!

With one exception, this dress was extremely comfortable! The expection is that the sequins rub against your inner arm and cause irritation the longer you wear it, so that is something to keep in mind if you're wearing it longer than a few hours. If you are 5'7" or taller, definitely get the Long size. I like hems brushing the floor, so I wore flats, but could have worn heels just fine. Since the back drapes, you cannot wear a bra (just cups or nipple concealers) or high-waisted Spanx. All in all, I loved this dress, it was very comfortable and I received so many compliments that it made all of the adjustments/dislikes worth it!
