I liked this better as a duster. I also belted it. The fabric is a bit textured and rough which I did not mind. The sleeves are rouched and three quarter length.
Loved this piece so much I ended up keeping it. While it was a bit snug as a dress, I’ve loved it as a long flannel jacket alternative. It’s become my staple for autumn football games & watch parties the last two years. It has a flannel look without actually being a heavy or particularly warm fabric.
When I added this to my cart thought I would wear it as a duster but really liked it as a dress. The fit was perfect just skimmed over my hips and chest. It's still in good shape too! Recommend!
Such a cute fall look. I wore both as a dress over a bodysuit, and a cardigan. Fits well, a bit small in the shoulders when buttoned.
The plaid is unique and really special. The sleeves make this otherwise simple cut noteworthy. The hips run a bit tight so depending on shape, it might not be possible to wear without keeping it open. It has pockets.
I loved this as a duster over a black tee and jeans. I got so many compliments on it. It's not flannel material, but its a comfortable weight for early October in NY.
When I first received this item I wasn't sure about the material of the fabric. I thought it was going to be a flannel material but it was a thin almost hard material. Once I got it on with an outfit I fell in love. Very flattering piece and may be my favorite I've ordered so far.
I thought this would be a thicker material that I may be able to wear outdoors during cold weather with some boot heels but it's thinner than anticipated, so I just wore it inside instead.
Loved the look of this dress as an open shirt! I typically wear a 4-6 US and the 4 fit great.
Paired nice with leggings and booties for extra layers.
Wore this as a dress for Thanksgiving then as a duster for work. It was cute and the perfect size but was a little itchy over time.
Like many others, I wore this as a duster and liked it. The fabric lends itself to be very bunched and wrinkled, so as a dress it just would not have worked (on me at least). It also runs a bit small if you’re trying to button it all the way up.
A great piece for the fall season. My hips were too wide to wear it as a dress but I enjoyed wearing it as a duster.
Versatile + Comfortable I needed to add a belt to give me shape. Otherwise, it would be not form fitting and somewhat frumpy.
As others mentioned liked this more as a duster. Thought it was just ok
Really loved this shirt dress! Wore it over my fav comfy jeans with the bottom buttons open to work from home but would also be so cute as a midi shirt dress with sneakers or booties! Will rent again!
Loved this loose fitting dress. It was very stylish and I got tons of compliments!
Was very tight on the hips so I had to wear it as a shirt! Definitely size up one if you want to wear it as a dress.
Fits baggy on top (chest + arms) while fitting a little tighter towards the bottom. Give it some shape by adding a belt
This fit well, was super comfortable, and looked great. Will be renting this again!

Just right
It's a little scratchy and a little tight in the arms, but I rent it every year I love the look so much lol.

I wore this as a shirt. I usually wear an 6/8 but the 6 was too tight in the hips and shoulders for me. I just recently ordered the 12R and I think it will work perfectly as an oversized shirt. I might even wear it as a dress this time! This is an item I just keep returning too. I wear it with denim and Doc Martens.
Easy fit can wear with flats or heels
My hips were a bit big to wear as a dress but I loved wearing as a duster with jeans. Great fall piece. Would rent again.
The overall fit is pretty perfect! The dress can be worn in a variety of ways! Just know the primary color is navy, not black. Hard to tell that from the photos...
... I figured we would do the usual: see art, make chat, sip coffee. This dress seemed like a perfect pick. I wore it to school over a sheer-leaning tee and dark jeans, but kept it open. Other reviewers shared it might be too big on top and narrow on the bottom. It would have been fine over leggings or tights, but seemed to hang oddly over jeans. The wool and cotton blend was fantastic the perfect weight for warming weather. The plaid, shot through with metallic thread, was memorable.
One of my favorite rentals! This dress was the perfect combo of oversized, without feeling shapeless. I was able to wear to work, out for drinks, and running errands (with ankle boots). I would recommend getting your true size or going down one. It was larger in the chest area, but more true through the hips. Would have totally bought this if it wasn't too expensive for me.
I want to shirt coat. It's very warm and works well as an over shirt/jacket. Tons of compliments.

Dowdy as dress, fire as duster
This is fun worn open as a cardigan like layer, could also be worn as a dress (I didn't try that). It's very cute, but definitely lighter weight. Fabric did feel a little bit itchy to me.
Good with a belt.
Super cute, great length. Unlined so a little itchy and not warm. Currently 20 weeks pregnant and took my normal size
Got this as a fun dress for work this fall. Unfortunately there was no way it was going to button up.
