The right fit, size and the color of this dress really pops!

This dress was beautiful. The fabric was heavy and luxurious and the color was a gorgeous emerald. It fit perfectly and was comfortable to wear. The drape of the dress and slit were flattering. One note, the arms are a little tight so might not be the best for buff arms.

Velvet doesn’t photograph well but this dress is gorgeous in person. Love the color and style. Tea length on me (5’4”)

I wore this to a gala in February and loved it! It is flattering and comfortable to wear. The deep green color is lovely and the fabric was thick enough for cold weather. I agree with other commenters that the sleeves are a little tight, but that wasn't an issue for me. Great length for fellow tall women!

Great dress for a cocktail attire event! I am usually a 4 or a 5 and the medium was the best fit for me.

This dress is beautiful and the quality is top notch! I had an issue with the zipper on the large so I made the XL work. I have a wide rib cage so I typically size up when a dress is more fitted in the waist/rib area. I don’t think it was the best fit for my apple shape but I loved it regardless. I wore tiny shorts bc the slit is high depending on how you’re sitting

This dress was very comfortable! I ordered the small as a backup and didn’t even try it on, the medium fit like a glove. Paired with basic gold jewelry and some sparkly heals, perfect outfit for a Christmas Eve party!

My cousin got married and this was the perfect dress to wear. I would advise getting shoes with a heel for short people, it went down to my ankles at 5’2”.

Stretched well and easy to move/sit in

Anyone can wear this. Arms are snug if you are larger in the bicep easier, may be uncomfortable. Very flattering.

Wore for NYE, great color, great fit, and comfortable! Agreed with others on the sleeve cuffs being on the slimmer side. They worked for my fairly average arms (maybe? is that a thing?) and weren’t uncomfortable, but could see them being a challenge for some.

I absolutely loved this dress. Wore it to a wedding on NYE. As others have said, there’s no give in the waist band nor the arms but it wasn’t uncomfortable. The dress is really elegant and I got compliments all evening and people kept asking where it was from. You do have to be careful when sitting as the dress parts straight down the middle (again, not a problem, just something to be aware of). Would rent again.

I really loved this dress, which felt so special! The velvet is gorgeous, both the color and feel. The cut is really unique, with the puffed sleeve and tulip skirt. The arms and chest were a tiny bit snug, but I am not sure a size up would have looked as good. I wore the dress for about 7 hours in moderate comfort, so that is pretty decent for a formal dress. The skirt does come apart to a fairly high point if you move or sit in certain ways, but I do think it's one of the prettiest features.

This dress was a beautiful color and I loved the details! The zipper was a little snug at the waist line and the sleeves were surprisingly snug as well but still comfortable. This is definitely not a dress I would suggest if your arms are a bit larger/muscular. The dress lower portion is an overlay and splits all the way to the waist, so you do need to be careful when sitting. There was ample room in the bust area for those who have a larger cup size. Overall, this dress was beautiful and fit great!

I did not wear this to a winter wedding because of the sizing. I thought the dress was going to burst open at the seam on the waist.

Comfortable, beautiful for winter or fall wedding

If I wore flats, it would be floor length for my height. The dress was comfortable. The color looks amazing in person and is hard to capture with my phone. I rented a medium and large. The large fit almost perfectly. However, I was having issues with the zipper puckering behind me. I'm unsure if it's because of my short torso or because I didn't fill out the top enough to flatten out the zipper. I couldn't get in the medium dress because the zipper got stuck halfway. I ended up getting replacements of a different style, but I think I might've liked this dress if it fit me right.

This worked pretty well on my pear shaped body type. As others said, the arm holes have no give and are rather small compared to the fit of the dress otherwise. I think the shape of it balances out the top and bottom halves so I looked more hourglass than I actually am. Pretty fabric for a winter event. Wore to a 1940’s Clue themed gala. It was a work thing and I didn’t want anything too revealing. My measurement are 35” 32” 42”

This dress was a HIT! It was so comfortable to dance all night in at a wedding - my only concern was the slit that goes quite high if you're short, and the under slip also cuts to the same height as the dress, so it's not really helping you there. You will also need someone to help you zip up, but especially down.
