A little tight so I would size up

The fit was perfect. The colors were perfect. Fabric was lighter than I anticipated but it hugged in all the right places. I wish I bought!!

No stretch to the garment, the middle portion zippers and the top half is button to adjust cleavage. Wore with a blazer and grey pumps! Fabric is thick and great quality. May need to iron- tends to wrinkle

Great dress! Longer on petites which makes it a bit more constricting too move around in. Loved the colors!

Fun and feminine spin on menswear. Covered all the right places even on larger chest and ruching was flattering around belly and hips. Definitely one of my go to designers for work.

When I first tried it on, I thought, this isn’t going to fit! A little difficult to zip but once I got it on it felt ok, not like I couldn’t breathe or eat! It gave me a great shape and the ruching hid what I like to hide. I was feeling really good until I drove to see a client and looked down and it was gaping at the buttons and showing a little more leg than I wanted to. I might recommend sizing up. Very cute though!

Super flattering and more comfortable than I thought. It fit just right to the point I was afraid it may be too tight to be comfortable all day, but I was wrong. I felt great and it fit like a glove! Really good choice for my fellow petite ladies!

I didn’t end up wearing but it’s a cute dress! Very well made with a zipper in the front through thighs / waist then a clip and buttons upwards. Not stretchy but this one fit me perfectly.

Loved the shape of this dress. It’s feels fresh. The fit is a bit strange because it’s looser in the waist and on top and more narrow in the skirt. If you have a curvy backside it may not work for you. It was also tricky to get in and out of the car because the skirt narrows at the knee. Still loved the look of it.

I don’t think I could sit down in this. It’s gorgeous but I didn’t wear it. It’s also expensive for a dress made from poplin.

I read the reviews and went up 2 sizes and it was not enough. This dress is well made and really cute - it will look great on the right body shape.

I’m normally a 4 and this 6 was uncomfortably tight. The fabric has no give. Definitely size up.

I sized up per the comments and this dress was very fitted (with limited stretch) across my hips. Walking was also a bit difficult so more of a standing dress.

This dress was a great for a business dinner, but as some of the other reviews stated, the buttons tend to slip open. Maybe they’re too small for the button holes? It’s a snug fit and not the most comfortable, but cute for an event.

The tightness of this dress is proof of the quality of the construction! I hadn’t ever rented a VB dress, and I learned that I probably need a 2 based on my curvy lower body. Still a great dress!

Didn’t end up wearing for quality reasons but I thought this was a cute dress. As others have said, it fits very snug through the hips and is hard to walk in (I can see how the person who wore this before me popped the button just above the knee). The rest of the dress has some stretch as the material is thin and not stiff.

I barely squeezed into this adorable dress. I could have gone up 2 or even 3 sizes! The slit is pretty short so I probably wouldn’t have worn this to work even if it had been a proper fit.

Wore this same style in black and the fit was fine, but in this fabric, I just couldn’t make it work. My usual size (4) would barely close around the upper legs/booty area but fit well everywhere else (abdomen, chest). Rented this six and it was still tight around butt/thighs - though I got it on, felt like I could barely walk and the buttons were about to burst while sitting. Meanwhile the abdomen felt too big. I could have unbuttoned one more button on the skirt but it would have been much higher cut than I was going for. Had high hopes for this as it’s a flattering cut and style but just not comfortable.

I sized up to a 6 as this brand runs small. It fit perfectly but needed a steam/iron on the sleeves. Great for a wedding shower.

Looked great when standing (although the bottom button kept coming undone). But did not work sitting. I wanted it for work so needed it modest. But if you're OK showing some leg, it'd be a great date night dress.

Fit great. I was t wearing this to work and casually with a Jean jacket.

I wore this for a banquet and it was a hit. Fit perfectly but I have a small waist. The ruching is very flattering.

I love this dress, but it is the only brand that I size up, maybe 2 sizes in. It is a bit tighter around the hips than I prefer.

I ordered up a size and it was still a little fitted.

Well made and super cute to dress up or down. No give in the fabric at all, so make certain you’re giving yourself some room. My normal size is 12. It was tough to get zipped up, but looked like it was tailor made for me as long as I was standing up. I couldn’t wear it because there was no way I could sit down in it.

Such a cute dress and a bit unique too. It fits great with a hidden zipper under the buttons on the skirt portion to make sure there are no gaps. I will rent this again.

I wasn't sure if the stripes would make me look bigger, but I didn't think so and I thought this dress was very flattering.
