Thelma Dress

I love Ulla Johnson dresses--they're so flattering and just easy to wear. I wore this several times on a Mediterranean cruise and on another recent trip.

I wore this dress for a girls dinner, an indoor work event, and an outdoor summer wedding. I am generally casual as a person and love throwing on something without much efforts and this dress fits the bill! The color was dark enough I don’t think the sheerness was noticeable, unless you’re outside and the wind blows! I would buy this dress if it didn’t feel a tad worn out.

Loved wearing this for a work trip to DC, professional without being stuffy. Highly recommend!

Perfect thanksgiving dress

Gorgeous dress, but side zip dresses are a nightmare if you have a large bust. I was able to zip it up pretty easily when braless. With a bra on, I can't zip it up at all. I don't think sizing up would help because it fits perfectly everywhere else. Large busted ladies be careful because there's zero stretch. I would still wear to event.

This was more on the casual side for an office dress but i made it work. It definitely can be a tad bit see through in certain lighting but the light weight fabric was a plus in the summer heat. Not sure I’ll rent again for work but couldn’t be great for other occasions.

I love this dress. It is low cut so I wore a slip under it which is needed anyway as it’s slightly see through.

This dress is so comfortable. It’s airy and light and still has a lovely structure to it. Note that it runs small. I’m a size 12 and the 16 fit me perfectly, if not a touch loose. I wore it for work calls and vacation.

This had a country/bo-ho vibe. Wore it to casual fall wedding with brown ankle booties. It was very comfortable and sweet, but didn't wow.

Had high hopes, but material wasn’t great.

Wore this to a few (very hot) picnics and was kept cool while running around after a toddler. The length gave more "modesty" vibes than I would have liked, but I got a ton of compliments on the pattern and cottagey style. And, it has POCKETS!

Comfortable and easy to wear. The double tie on the front is a little strange, but you mostly don't notice it

Soft flowing cotton with a lining. Well constructed and the elastic banded waistline is forgiving and not too tight.

This is the second time I rent this particular dress and will rent from again. Great fit in one of my favorite styles. I always wear it multiple times when I rent it.

I wore this several times. Fun Boho print, perfectly comfortable. Side zipper made getting in and out easy.

This dress fit perfectly. It’s hit or miss with me on dresses from RTT because I’m short waisted I usually have to get the shoulders taken up. But this dress fit great. I wore it several times to work with some black wedge espadrilles. The material is soft and not thick so good for hot weather.

I wore on vacation and loved how lightweight it was. Looked elevated but not too formal for touring about. Waist has some elasticity so it was comfortable and adjustable.

I Loved this dress. I wore it multiple times on our vacation to Paris and for date night. I love the nice deep pockets. I easily fit my phone in one and wallet in the other allowing me to ditch my purse for the night! The only thing keeping me from buying it is that the arm cuffs were a little tight for me. The zipper is on the side, the waist ties are adjustable, very comfortable to wear and easy to get in and out of.

This dress is a no-brainer. I wore it twice -- once with chunky heels and fun earrings, and once with sneakers. Both were a hit and got tons of compliments. It is flowy and comfortable/forgiving, while being very comfortable because of the fitted waist and low v-neck. The print is playful and pretty, and the overall style is versatile for almost any occasion. And Ulla is always fabulous quality and stand-out prints, this being no exception.

My first Ulla Johnson & won't be my last! It's a gorgeous retro print and will fit a large chest generously (I'm 36G in this photo which won't submit. If I delete the photo the review gets published). Pockets! Not lined, slightly see through on bottom. Did not have to iron! Gave me a waist with my current apple shape. The two-tiered ties on the waist - this design is smart and effective, and was very comfortable all day at work and moving around. My body is an apple and this gave me an actual waist and shape. The v in the neck isn't too low. I think any bra would would. I did pin in a little bit higher since I was already repairing it to wear just for my own comfort but I think it's work appropriate without any adjustment. It isn't lined and the material is dark but light. It was surprisingly sheer in the sun to me. Most people will be fine with any undergarments but I didn't realize it and wish I'd worn a slip.

Didn’t love at first but fit so well I wore it anyways. Loved the full skirt, material was super lightweight which was perfect for vacation.

The dress fit beautifully and I was able to wear it without a camisole underneath because the v was a reasonable depth. The drawstrings at the waist were a nice touch for being able to adjust the fit. While not exactly sheer, the skirt does let some light through, so if you're on the more modest side you may prefer this with a slip dress underneath.

Comfortable eith very pretty colors. I wore it as an every day dress. Wasn’t dressy enough for me to wear it elsewhere.

Fits my body like it was made for me and pockets are awesome. Absolutely love Ulla Johnson! The print is beautiful online but I'm not sure I can pull it off IRL.

I loved this dress so much that I kept it all month. It was that perfect combination of something a little special, very flattering fit, incredibly comfortable and versatile. I was able to dress it up or down and add layers for cooler days and evenings.

Got so many compliments on this! Lovely flowy material that's on the lighter side so it's good for hot weather. Wore this on a boat, to dinner, with a light trench for fall - worked in every situation!
