Avery Dress

Honestly I thought this dress would be too heavy for summer but I was very comfortable in it! It also was great because after a day of wine tasting and cheese it’s always good to hid the tummy area lol

Loved this dress, so femme and fun. I could’ve sized down as the top was a little big.

I feel bad leaving this review, as Ulla is one of my very favorite designers, but the construction of the bust is so terrible that the dress is unwearable without something over it. I didn't notice when ordering, but there is a rather structured cup that has a base diameter of about 3 inches and a depth of about 3 inches. It's as if there is the correct volume allotted for the boob, but it's in the shape of a very tall cone that sits away from the body somewhat. It makes it look like you have a smaller boob sticking out from the main boob, as the rest of the boob is compressed. I don't know how to describe it other than that and to say it isn't what you generally want going on there. It's so sad because the skirt with its pleated ruffles is gorgeous, as is the pattern and color of the fabric (which is why it geta another star.) The only chance for this dress is if I happened to get one with a manufacturing error, or if you plan to wear something over it - a cropped sweater works well. Bummer rental.

Wore it to my dad's 60th birthday. So cute and fun. Don't need a bra.

Will wear to western wedding. It’s perfect but runs large. I tried 8, 6 and settled on a 4. Size at least one size down

This dress was very comfortable and great to dance eat and move all night in. The pattern isn’t my favorite but it was a perfect fabric for not showing sweat in an SC wedding in May.

I feel like the pictures don’t really do it justice. TBH, I rented to play around with UJ sizing but I have never gotten so many compliments on a dress. Wore to Valentines Day date night, am wearing again to a birthday brunch (will be overdressed, don’t care, looking for an excuse to wear more than once). It’s cute with heels, boots, and white sneakers. Wore with a trench coat and fur lined coat. Just rent it. Size up if you’re bigger chested, it’s true to size if not.

I love ulla and this was an awesome fun comfortable flattering dress for wedding. Usually wear a 4 but am regularly a 6 in ulla because of bust

Beautiful dress- Ulla has done it again. Loved the ruffles on this dress and the way it moved. My only note would be that the straps were a little long an non adjustable which caused them to call throughout the day.

Perfect tiers for slim effect on a dress. Ruffles on the side but flat center. Straps are not adjustable. Room in hood. Fit across a larger chest. Felt beautiful while wearing.

Obsessed with this dress. Perfect transitional for southern fall/winter with the spaghetti straps for warm weather but the darker winter colors and ability to pair with booties! Fits very true to size

very hot in the summer despite being spaghetti straps. the dress is cute. it’s my exact measurements and fits well but the top has a “designated boob area” that’s like way too small for the size of the dress. so it looks like the dress is too small for me, because I have bigger boobs. also, the straps fall off a lot, but that’s just my sizing.

Wanted to really love this - the straps were quite long, the bust was very short and the cups were a bit pointy. The body felt like a lot of volume but not in a super flattering way. The 8 fit true to size but the proportions were just odd.

This was perfect for a fall wedding! It fit to size, the straps were a bit long, but could easily be safety pinned.

Bodice has no stretch or give whatsoever so it fits like a glove but i can imagine may be a problem for some people in between sizes. Straps are not adjustable so could also be problematic for others.

I have larger hips/thighs and this fit perfectly through the toros and waist and was roomy in the skirt

the chest was too big for me in the 4, i’m generally a 4 with a smaller chest. 34C. i’d size down ?

I should have listened to some of the other reviews. Although I really liked the print, the overall dress was just not flattering and the cut of the top made it impossible to wear. Ended up not wearing it

Beautiful dress but the straps were very long and not adjustable so it hung kind of low cut

does wrinkle in the back when you sit with all the ruffles

The cups are insanely small and will not fit anything bigger than a B cup.

Unwearable thanks to excess fabric at bust- A and B cups stay away!

This dress is beautiful, but the sizing was either sent to me incorrectly by mistake (couldn’t find a number in the actual tag to confirm) because I couldn’t even come close to zipping it, or this dress runs ~2 sizes too small! I loved the shape & color though so I may be willing to try ordering again if I have a future spot or something!
