Shinrin Dress

This dress was utter perfection and I’m seriously considering buying the dress even though I have no idea where I’d wear it to in the future lol. I wore this to an Oscars Reception and by golly I felt like I could have walked the red carpet all night. I ordered both my normal size 10 and the backup 12, but went up to the 12 to fit my boobs. Felt absolutely fabulous and 10/10 recommend!

I loved this dress. The only issue I had was the zipper - on both sizes it is hard to pull up through the bust seam. You've got to give it a good yank, but otherwise I loved it and would wear it again.

Rent it! True to size, nice material. And the cape is just fun. Bright bold red makes a statement.

True size 6. Has a little stretch to it. Conservative, yet dramatic at the same time. I got so many compliments throughout the evening!

Fits like a glove! There is no give, but it's not uncomfortable. I'm at 12/14 and the 12 was perfect. You will be turning heads all night in this.

Went out on a limb for this rental (and was compared to Wonder Woman), but I LOVE this dress! It’s very flattering, easy to wear, and you don’t need a bra or special under garments for it!! If I had any other place besides a holiday party to wear this to, I’d buy it! I felt like I was walking the SAG red carpet!

LOVED this dress. I normally wear lower key outfit but have always wanted to wear a dress with a cape and this was perfect for a holiday party. I got so many compliments and it was a confidence booster for sure. There was some stretch and give so it wasn't too tight to walk in. Came to lower thigh when standing and I'm 5'2. Was a little short for my taste while sitting so ankle crossed all night. It moved great for some dancing we did. Just a stunning dress overall.

Sometimes you need a mid-thigh dress that's not too low-cut or too exposed -- but still makes you look look hot and powerful. This is it. Perfect for a work function, family event, speaker engagement, etc. I actually ended up keeping it, it was so flattering without being dowdy.

I received compliments left and right in this dress. The fit was great. I ordered a 14 and 16 just incase for the hips. I wear a 14 in jeans and the 14 fit perfectly. Wasn't too tight anywhere. I'd absolutely rent this dress again, may even buy it!

Great fit overall, the hips were slightly large but you could barely tell because of the built in cape.. Everyone loved the dress and I was getting compliments the whole night!

This dress was super fun! I received so many compliments. I'm 140-145lbs, 5'4" and a 32E ish bra size and wore the size 8. I got a 6 as a backup size and they both fit but I was wearing it for a dinner and the 8 has a but more room to eat lots of delicious food.

This dress is amazing. I absolutely loved the cape & people complimented me on it all night. I felt like a superhero with it on! The fabric was thick enough to not show my undergarments, & it had enough stretch to give throughout the night. I'd never have bought something like this, so I'm glad it was available to try on RtR!

Wore this for a company awards dinner and got SO MANY compliments. The cape is amazing. The middle was a little big on me bc I had to wear a larger size to accommodate my chest. But if you had normal dinensions it would fit true to size.

This dress is a STATEMENT. It is definitely eye catching and 100% a power dress. It may not be appropriate for every occasion but when it is - go for it. It is so empowering. And people loved it. I found it was a little tight around the belly without much forgiveness but I wore some control under garments and felt great.

It fit very well but has no stretch. Luckily TT fits me just right (5’1”, 110#, athletic build with no curves) hitting just at the knee. This was perfect for Christmas Eve church service.

I wore this dress to a wedding with a vintage vibe. I felt amazing and got compliments all night. Both sizes I got fit but I went with my regular size for a slightly tighter look. Be prepared for a lot of compliments and a runway moment when you walk with the cape flowing behind you!

This dress is fun, tasteful and I received many compliments. The red is a true neutral red. It bordered on being just long enough on my short waisted, longer legs figure. I was able to comfortably wear a bra, and felt the dress was true to size.

Loved this unique option for a rehearsal dinner at 28 weeks pregnant. Got a ton of compliments on the cape! Dress was fitted enough to have some shape, and forgiving enough to be comfortable and still very stylish.

Perfect fit and color

Super cute and easy dress I wore for a work event! I did have to DIY a hem with some double sided tape though since it was way too long for my preference. If you’re shorter you might want to keep that in mind!
