Embroidered Dress

This isn’t your basic black dress. The fit is very nice. I love the extra detailing of the white pattern which makes it interesting. I also loved the cut of it. Highly recommend for work!

Really great dress. Heavy fabric and might be too much in warm weather. I sized up to fit over my chest but I didn't need to. A size smaller would have been even better

This dress fit true to size. I have a wide chest (not bust) and it was perfectly fitted, so it may be harder for bustier women to wear. The length for my 5'9" height was above the ankle, kind of mid-length, which looked nice. The bell of the dress was not too wide. It had a great flow to it and was very comfy around the waist since the dress was A-line. The fabric is also thick and heavier than I expected, which allowed the dress to stay in place when standing, but not too heavy to allow it to move nicely when walking. It was also lined, which was an added plus. It was very well made and I enjoyed wearing it, although I most likely won't rent it again.

Pros: the material is really soft and the skirt flows in a really pretty way. It is also versatile. I thought that I would wear it as a summer dress, but then we got an unexpected cold front. So I just put a turtleneck underneath and added some boots. Cons: There is a risk that this comes off as a craft project (grandma's doilies and a glue gun). Not sure how others received it. But I was comfortable, so I didn't care.

Cannot say enough good things about this dress! Wore to a black dress event, and it stood out with the white embroidery. It was incredibly comfortable, fabric was high end and flowed beautifully when you moved. Would have purchased if not for the price!

Such a wonderful dress. I wore it for a Mother’s Day brunch and it was so comfortable and flatttering. Got many compliments. Very nice material, the lining really helps smooth out any bumps and lumps. Loved the slightly asymmetrical hem

It’s surprisingly sophisticated for just a simple sundress. Great quality & absolutely perfect fit. Would buy if it were more affordable.

I read other reviews and went down to a 0. It fit great. It’s not plain and would be a nice dress for a number of events.

This dress can easily be dressed up or down for work or a more formal occasion. I wore mine with a kimono top and some solid white sneakers, which dressed it down quite nicely for work. The dress is fully lined and the jersey fabric is heavy, so even on a cold day, if you've got a sweater or jacket to add to the top, you'll be perfectly comfortable. I wouldn't recommend this for a summer event, it'd be too hot. I got many compliments with this dress!

Wore at a work dinner with a shawl and it was beautiful. I will rent this again

I wore this to work. It's true to size for non-busty women, but if you are busty, size up so you can give the ladies some breathing room.

This dress is really soft and comfortable and has great, elegant, movement thanks to the way the bottom is cut. I was worried it would look frumpy because of the doilies but somehow it all works.

I'm short, so it was a little long on me. With platform shoes, did fine. Wore it for daytime museum visit.

Good fit, but needs to be dressed up with good shoes, otherwise you lean too far in with the doily look. Wore 4 months pregnant and was mostly comfortable

Thou I didn't wear this dress. I did try it on, and loved it! It's a bit unusual with the pattern, but different enough to be appealing. The material is beautiful and it fit very well. I just couldn't wear two dresses! I would rent this dress again.

This dress is slightly fitted and a great length for my 5'8" height. I loved it!

For some reason, I thought I would wear this as an every day dress. I was wrong. This dress is quality, heavier material, and meant for a formal event. Ran a little large for a size 6.

This dress was flattering but I just couldn't bring myself to wear it. Every time I put it on, I felt like a home-Ec project gone astray with the appliqué doilies.

Material is heavy and length is too long --I am 5'4" and found it to be very hot for the middle of summer. Wore out to dinner once. Wished I had not kept.

I am a pretty standard 2 or 4 in dresses, and I was surprised how large this size 2 was! Would have kept it had it fit. Nice that it still had the tags on it.
