Tessa Dress

I wore this dress to a Farmers Fair, and it was perfect for the hot weather. The cotton peplum fabric is breezy and comfortable, like seersucker. The zipped-up ruched bodice cinches just right, meaning no need for an uncomfortable strapless bra— which we all hate! Wore this dress to a play. It was very comfortable. The material was a bit stiff, probably needed a good ironing but I just wore it out of the bag and had to push down on the ruffles. I liked the adjustable straps that helped it fit better

Wore this for a rehearsal dinner for a wedding and it was perfect! A tad bit small but overall would rent again

I love the layers and found the silhouette very flattering on a curvy petite body. I did need to press the layers down with an iron to keep them from flipping up. Disclaimer, it was very humid when I rented this.

This dress runs small. It was hard to zip over my rib cage, straps are adjustable but they felt tight and uncomfortable by the end the day, the chest area laid weird and came up too high when the straps were adjusted to fit my shoulders. It's a good length for a petite but that's about all it has going for it. Overall, not a super flattering dress and for the retail price I would expect it to look and feel better quality. I was happy I had to cover half of it to comply with the weather.

Love that straps are adjustable

The fabric on this dress is very stiff and think. Doesn't allow any flowy movement and the ruffles would need to be ironed down flat because the stick out straight and fold in weird ways. Not a fan of this dress at all, other than the sizing was true to size.

Sizing was too small - based on other reviews I went with a 2 but the side zipper would not close. A size 4 would possibly been the better choice. The material looks wrinkled which may (or may not) be the intentional texture of the fabric. The dress was cute and I would have worn it if it fit.
