Jacqui Ruched Dress

Needed a black tie event dress quickly, and this was perfect. I was worried it might be tight in the chest (I’m a 36K) but not at all! It’s very forgiving and stretchy while still feeling luxe. I love the texture and the trumpet style hem. I would wear this to everything!

This dress was stunning, flattering, and comfortable. I got tons of compliments and it was easy to dance in. I’m just under 5’8, 135 lbs, slim/athletic/small bust. I got a small.

Hugged my curves in the right places, the ruching is seriously amazing. I felt comfortable and confident. Easy to style and perfect for back tie. I thought it looked great with hair up because of the high neck line. I wore a size Medium.

This dress made me feel so glamorous and also was very flattering on my body. The only thing is it doesn’t provide any chest support, so you may want to wear a bra.

This dress fit just right. The material is ribbed and there are shoulder pads, which I wasn’t expecting.

A very classic easy wear. Would rent again! I didn't need to wear a bra, its a tight and comfortable form fitting bust.

It was so functional and beautiful. With so many dress clothes you have to worry about it staying in place or sitting perfectly to not lose something but this was easy

Fit like a glove! Was so comfortable! I did wear shapewear to hold things in place as it's a pretty flexible fabric but it was so flattering and lovely!

Loved the fit of this dress!! Was very stretchy so did not squeeze me at all and the rouching is in a good spot so the dress isn't tight on the stomach area. Was very elegant for a wedding and would wear again!

Fit like a glove, wore to a black tie, opera gala. Perfect style, very elegant and sophisticated.

The only complaint i have is there was no zipper. But it was SO comfortable

I got this as a backup dress because I thought it was a basic dress but it turned out so beautiful! It is very comfortable, not too long and was very flattering. I have big hips/butt and this shaped me very well without the need for a faja! I dressed it up with gold accessories and I loved the way I looked :)

This dress was SO flattering. I got complimented on it all night long - hugged in all the right areas and I loved the neck so much. Would have loved to purchase it, will probably rent again!

Super sleek and comfy- great for a formal wedding

This dress is the perfect black sheath gown for multiple occasions! I’m 5’1”, 127lbs and the size small fit great. The textured fabric and ruching in the torso makes it forgiving, and petite friendly. I actually didn’t wear this to my event as I liked the other dress I chose better, but would definitely rent again when I need a classic black gown.

Wore this dress to formal work party. Very comfortable dress and received many compliments! Favorite dress I’ve ever worn! One thing to note is i would have preferred to be longer cause i was wearing heels but no big deal.

Loved this dress! I’m in between a size 12 and 14, ended up wearing the XL. It fit great and was so comfortable. Finally a slit that was perfect for the tall girlies, very modest while still showing a bit of leg

Wore this dress to my husband’s work Christmas party. It was perfect for the event. It was stretchy and sooo comfy, but very form fitting. I felt so confident!

let me tell u what this dress did for me (TLDR: everything) I have forward rolling shoulders, and don't like to highlight them with thin straps.. that was my biggest concern, but this dress covered them beautifully without being too modest, all while highlighting parts of my body I like more. the waistline is insanely flattering, made me look way more curvy than I usually do (my boyfriend asked if the dress was padded..) the drop seam and scrunch is just perfection. it creates an amazingly flattering illusion, elongating the torso, and drawing attention to the lower waist and butt. it was also super comfortable and breathable. the armpits are low enough that I didn't sweat into the dress, or rub weird, but aren't so low that any side boob is exposed or anything.. it was just genuinely perfect. this is size small. I am about 5'7, wore a short heel, and the length was flawless. I wore a wireless nude bra. I had absolutely no complaints. I felt like Audrey Hepburn. It was so beautiful, even being a (seemingly) simple black dress in a sea of black-tie attire, I felt like I was shining in the crowd. 1000% would rent again.!!!!

Loved this dress and highly recommend! The ribbed (crinkled?) texture of the fabric is not apparent from the model photo, but looks elevated in person. I felt elegant and classy in this dress and received lots of compliments. I am 5’1” and the dress skimmed the floor in 3 inch heels.

I wore this to a fall wedding and received so many compliments! I’m petite with a straight body type, and usually have a hard time with fit. This dress exceeded my expectations and accentuated all the right places. It was super comfortable and stayed put all night. It was form fitting but not too tight. The only thing I’ll say is that I wish I would’ve gotten a petite size because even with my highest heels the bottom of the dress still dragged on the ground. But I’m 5’3 and expected it to be longer on me. Overall it’s an awesome, elegant dress that I highly recommend!

So glad I took a chance on this sexy, comfortable dress. The XLR fit my abundant figure of the moment, and the length was perfect with 3" heel. The stretchy knit, even with full lining, hugged my curves without riding up (though be careful to study the construction when donning the dress to make sure all the linings are in proper places). No zipper to mess with -- just pull the dress on over your head! The ruching *below* the belly was different but looked fine. I wore this dress with a supportive bra and a thigh-to-underbust Spanx girdle thing and it all worked. Got tons of compliments! Bonus: For packing, I removed the hanger, wrapped this dress in its RTR plastic bag, rolled it up and put it in my carry-on! It came out perfect. I would buy this dress.

Loved the cut and felt pretty in this but didn’t feel quite dressy enough for a black tie event due to the length. The ruche also was kinda of weird on the hip.

This was a very forgiving fit! I normally would order medium but they were out of that size. The small petite worked just fine (with shapewear). I’m 5’ 0” and wore 4” heels; it was still length. Sorry I don’t have a better picture to share. It was perfect for a black tie event and I was able to dance all night. I would highly recommend.

This dress was so comfortable and perfect for a black tie wedding! I have a big chest and had no problem with fitting. I could wear a normal bra and it was stretchy enough to not be constricting. Do yourself a favor and rent this dress!

The fit is amazing! I was so happy with the quality and fabric has subtly ribbing detail that is really flattering. I’m typically between a size 2 and 4 and the small was perfect.

This dress is so flattering. It hugs you in all the right places. Made my straighter hips look curvier. I will probably end up buying. It’s super comfortable and easy to dress up with accessories. I didn’t love it right away because the neckline is different than I’m used to, but give your eyes time to adjust and it’s a really lovely dress.

got so many compliments on this dress, the only thing i wish i got a small and a medium instead of a large and medium. I ended up wearing the medium but wanted it to be a little more snug to snatch me in so i feel like the small would have given me that look. other than that, the medium was comfy and so cute!
