Helena Long Sleeve Ruched Maxi Gown

Not my absolute favorite, but worked for a night out!

This was the perfect dress for my friend’s formal wedding. The medium fit but was a little tight in the arms so I wore the large and it was perfect for dancing and eating a lot of wedding cake! The dress is not as shear as the pictures make it seem - but the fabric is thin so I was a little cold in the March air. Still I got so many compliments I was SO sad to send it back.

I felt beautiful and received many compliments! The dress is gorgeous!! The dress arrived and looked much too small, but once I pulled it out I knew it would fit. The fabric is luxurious and has a perfect stretch to it so it lightly hugs your curves without clinging to areas that aren’t as flattering.

This dress looked much better on, i ordered a petite but almost feel like they sent me a long by accident so i had to play around with the ruching otherwise the fabric bunched in awkward spots. Outside of that, loved it. wore to a late winter wedding. Kept me warm but light enough to dance without feeling I was in a sauna. Received lots of compliments.

Definitely will rent again

This dress is stunning. I wore it for a company holiday party at an art museum. It fit well and was so flattering. I got a lot of compliments too. Rent this!!!

It was more covered than I thought. It was cute but I thought it would be more edgy. Fabric is forving and nice. No steam needed- can travel well

Hugs your curves in all the right places! Full coverage, not too see through, yet incredibly sexy! It was very comfortable too in that I did not need to adjust it at all throughout the night. Overall a 10/10 formal winter event dress :)

I got a 6 but the material is stretchy so I wish I would’ve gotten a 4 for a more form fit. Really comfortable!

Dress fits perfectly. Snug, but very comfortable to sit and move around in. The length was just right for heals of any height. Highly recommend for a formal winter event! Also, very easy to match well with any suit my husband wore.

The dress was perfect, so many compliments! It was super comfortable, could wear any bra with it. Sleeves weren’t too tight around arms & shoulders. Not nearly as see through as the model picture. Wish I could have bought it </3

Fun dress that you can dress up or down. Love the long sleeve detail- stretchy and sheer without feeling too delicate. Typically wear a medium and ordered a medium, lots of stretch but felt a little tight since fabric is thin so not that forgiving but flattering because there was a lot of ruching. Nothing shapewear couldn't fix.

I was actually hoping it'd be a bit more sheer, but there is a lining everywhere except the arms. Overall liked it!

very comfortable, non-restrictive dress and the fit was good for petite! will note that it is sheer despite the second layer so I personally went with 🍒 covers and skin-tone undies as that seemed more discreet than wearing black which could definitely be seen through.

I was expecting it to be sheer according to the photos but it provides full coverage. Loved it. Felt very vampy but not exactly goth. Minus 1 star for the catch in the seam you can see on the right. I fixed it with temporary stay tape so it would lay flat.

I wore this to a formal, and this was great! I ended up wearing the large as I don’t like things too tight and this was still body conscious. It’s not heavy at all despite the velvet. Slit is high, be aware when you choose your shapewear.

I was skeptical when I pulled this dress out of my RTR bag because it was comically narrow, but it stretched out to hug me in all the right ways! It was secure but not too tight—and it didn’t stretch out over time so it was flattering all night long. If I looked snatched in this photo it is 100% because of the magic of this dress. 🙌🏼 My only complaint was there isn’t a defined slip with this dress (only two layers of thin material) so I was self-conscious about people seeing the goods. But the material had this concealing, somewhat reflective property to it so this concern was mostly in my head. When I took of the dress at the end of the night I was surprised to see my entire body (including my nipple-covers) was stained purple, but perhaps that’s because it came brand-spanking-new with the tags.

Slightly see through for an outdoor wedding . I wore a black tank top under.

Fit perfectly. I loved this dress. I will note it is very thin (I was cold) and there is an odd bunching thing that happened on the hips. But I am pretty straight shaped so it would likely be better on someone with curves.. Still- loved it! And would wear again.

I almost bought this dress too! It's one of my favorite rentals. It fit perfectly and looked so classy for a holiday party. Really it would work for any party. Im 5"0 and this dress fit me great.

I love this dress. It is very sexy and it feels comfortable. It does not restrict your movement and you will walk and feel like you're flowing. It is grown and sexy.

Great witch dress

This was a perfect wedding guest dress. The fit was great. My only negative was that it was brand new (still had the tag) and the black dye bled onto my hands/shapewear. I would recommend washing before wearing if it comes new.
