Kensington Dress

I wore one size smaller than usual based on prior reviews and it fit perfectly. The color is intense. The sleeves are gorgeous and the cut is flattering and feminine.

This dress is beautiful. The material is a bit stiff and you may be prone to sweating if worn for dancing. It was worth it though, as it is striking. So many compliments!

Love the lace detail. It fits funny on the neck if you plan on moving around a lot. For those with longer arms the bell sleeve hits just above the wrist. I rented this 2 times already and loved it both times!

Fits comfortable and it goes from work during day to cocktails in the evening.

Loved the neckline, bell sleeves, and how flattering it was on my body shape. The lace was sturdy and thicker so it held structure better than flimsier lace. Wore this to the theatre and just loved it!!

I joked that this dress’ vibe was “why no officer, I loved my husband and he had no enemies.” Rented this for my work’s festive holiday lunch and it was perfect — richly colored, perfect fit and fun flares, flattering with incredible detail, fetching without being inappropriate. I wasn’t warm in this. The one downside (for me) was the bell sleeves kind of dragged when I would get food and so I ended up needing to hold them. Love this dress.

Wore this for a friend’s birthday dinner and Thanksgiving with the family. It was a hit!

They didn't have a 4 so I wore a 6 instead. It fit very nicely and I got many compliment on the dress.

Wore this to a formal holiday function and received tons of compliments. The color is bright and the fit is very flattering. I'm a little in between sizes right now and ended up sizing up to a 10 - the only thing that was noticeably too big was the length of the sleeves. I'm 5'5" 160lbs with an hourglass shape. I would absolutely wear this again and recommend to anyone!

Loved this dress and got a ton of compliments. Very flattering in all the right places and forgiving to the midsection. It was also very comfortable, and the perfect length. I am almost 40 years old and try to stay away from dresses that are too short, but feel like below the knee makes me look frumpy! This dress was elegant and high quality.

I ended up wearing this as a replacement dress for a Christmas party. It's flattering but still appropriate for all occasions. Really loved the lace sleeves :)

This dress has really great details in the sleeves, waist, and neckline. You don’t need to wear jewelry with it. It is a little more empire-waisted than it looks in photos, which I don’t find super flattering. But it’s a nice option for a holiday party.

I wore this for Christmas Eve and it was very festive so I got compliments on it. Personally o felt it made me look a little more too heavy than I prefer but I liked the fit well enough overall.

A size 4 was good for me, but slightly on the large side around the bust area. It fit perfectly around the hips, not too tight, and not too baggy. The fabric was pleasant, not scratchy. The sleeves were a little long, but not too much. I wore it to a holiday party, mostly with people in their 40's and 50s. It's conservative but still sexy. I didn't love it, but it was appropriate for the occasion. Everyone tends to wear black where I am, I felt a little out of place but I do love the color. It is really coca cola red, very vibrant.

Sadly, I really wanted to like this. But, I didn't. The dress has no shape, it's very boxy.

I wanted to wear something very feminine, festive and fun to our romantic weekend escape. The Kensington dress from Shoshanna was perfect in every way and made me feel very pretty! I received soooo many compliments on the dress. Definitely going to wear this again - perhaps Valentines Day? Excited to find another designer that fits me so well too!

This was the perfect dress to wear to work and then straight to our holiday party. I'm glad I got the 10 for room in the shoulders and bust. Waist wasn't super fitted but it was still comfortable and flattering. So I'd say go with your usual size or one up.

Dress is medium weight lace with lining. Back zipper. Waist isnt super fitted, so it is somewhat forgiving of figure flaws. The keyhole cutout at neckline is a little conservative, so it adds sexiness without revealing too much (I am B cup).

This dress is so comfortable and flattering. I wore it for a New Year's Eve Party and it was perfect. It definitely runs a bit big but I wore my usual size 6 and only I would have noticed that a 4 would have been preferred. I'm tall and this was a great cocktail length for me.

I loved this dress, and I received so many compliments that I was a welcomed flash of colour in the sea of dark coloured outfits at our party. I usually wear a 10, but after the holidays I was worried about being a little fluffy, so I ordered a 14 (12 was unavailable) and got the 10 as a back up. I am so glad I did as the 10 fit perfectly!. The dress has a lot of stretch to it which I was not expecting, and the shape was perfect! This is the first RTR dress I've rented (and there's been many) that ticked every single box when it came to the fit! I loved the colour, the cut, the fabric, and how easy it was to wear!

Super cute dress. Slightly short for tall girls, I'm 6' - wore it with tights on a mild November night. Complements galore! Even was serenaded with "Lady in Red"! Highly recommend, so long as you don't want to blend in... :D
