Very classy and comfortable. A stand out dress that breaks through in a sea of black. I got a ton of compliments throughout the night and felt great in the dress. Wore it to an awards show. True to size. I wore the 2 but a 4 probably would've worked better because it was almost too short in the waist/bust area. So if your taller like me, I wouldn't size down.

Distress was perfect for my daughter’s family sorority formal. I am short, only 52, so it looked like a midi dress on the model was full length on me. Also, the cleavage was deeper than I expected, but it fit perfectly. The waist is very defined so if you are thicker through the waist, you’ll probably want a slightly larger size thing you normally wear. I got so many compliments on this dress so pleased with the RTR.

Perfect black tie wedding dress guest. Fit like a glove and was very comfortable to dance in. Highly recommend.

This dress needs more reviews so you’ll know that it’s SOO GOOD. You can wear a regular bra, fits true to size, perfect length (I’m 5’5 for reference), super comfortable and lined. Great weight for an October wedding. Get it! You won’t regret it.

Luckily I ordered one size down because this fit in just the right places. My typical size 4 was a bit too large in the shoulder/upper body area. Overall, very flattering and received many compliments!

Loved this dress. The fabric is draped but not heavy. The wide waist area is comfortable. It’s very low cut so i used a stick on bra. Wore it for my birthday party and loved it!

Wore this to my office holiday party. The shimmery fabric is great, loved the little cap sleeve. I am usually an 8 sometimes 6, and I sized down to a 6 in this. The fabric is soft, stretchy, and comfy. The only negative is that the neckline is very low. It was hard to find a bra, I think it still looked ok but maybe would be better without a bra… Overall I liked the dress but didn’t love!

Didn’t end up wearing as I liked other options I had better. This was flattering and I liked the overall fit, but was slightly too long on me. The fabric is gorgeous and so soft. Think it would be perfect for an event you want something shimmery and if you’re over 5’5”.

Loved this dress - the silhouette, color, length we’re perfect. I got tons of compliments but when I look back at photos from the event, you can see where the waist would ride up a little and I didn’t pull it down making it a little less flattering than I would have hoped

Good fit, comfortable with an old-school Hollywood vibe. Deep V, so fashion tape is needed to keep in place.

I love this dress! It was comfortable and forgiving that I didn’t need spanx. It’s a fun dress that was perfect for a Mardi Gras theme gala. I was worried about the bra situation based on other reviews but I wore a plunging bra and was fine.

True to size

I loved the material and the golden shimmer. I also loved the neckline and sleeves - very flattering. I felt like the dress might look better on someone a little taller and a little less curvy. The cut will add curves for someone who doesn't have hips and a butt. For me, it just accentuated more of what I already have. Even with heels, I felt like this dress was too long for me. It looked like a short gown. Still, got a lot of compliments. :)

With the review, we are prompted to answer "Where did you wear it?" After trying it on, I couldn't think where I would actually wear this. The cut was at shoulder/bust/bodice were fine to flattering, but the length was far too long on me because I'm 5ft. But the fabric texture & color paired with something this length (EVEN on a normal-heighted person) have me wondering to what occasion someone would where this to...

I did not end up wearing this. I think it would look better on someone with a bigger chest than me.

This dress was so fun and would have been perfect, but it was just a bit too small for me. My regular size wasn't available so I grabbed a size down thinking there might be some give in the chest/shoulders. Unfortunately there wasn't -- I have a larger ribcage which means I tend to have trouble zipping dresses up all the way, but even if I'd been able to get this one fully zipped I could tell that I wouldn't have been able to raise my arms or move comfortably. Something to keep in mind if you're considering sizing down! But overall a great dress -- would have loved to wear it!

This dress fit well except for the neckline. It was lower cut than pictured. I am larger busted and I had to keep adjusting the top all evening so my bra wouldn't show. I tried Fashion tape but the material of the dress didn't stick well. Other than that it was a pretty dress and the rest of it fit very well.

Loved the style and material but the under bust was too tight on me.

This is a very pretty formal occasion dress and I felt good wearing it to a black tie charity event. My issue was the fit on the bottom, the 4 fit me well up top but had so much excess fabric and volume in the skirt it made me look bottom heavy (which I'm not). The 2 was better for the bottom, but the top was too small. I think the dress would be great for curvier and pear shaped people but isn't great on a more straight/narrow figure.

With all the rave reviews I had high expectations… deep V needed boob tape, the top was a bit loose and overall wasn’t a showstopper in my opinion
