Rubina Midi Dress

I loved this dress! I wore it to a fall wedding. The flower embroidery was so pretty. The length was perfect, even though I'm petite. I loved that the dress had flow to it. It was fitting in the chest/rib area but it wasn't too tight.

Dress fit perfectly for my size. Not typically my style but it worked well for the work event I attended.

Rented for a rehearsal dinner and got loads of compliments. A great combo of refined and elevated. I'm usually a 12 or 14 and rented the 14; the body fit like a glove. The arms are slightly elastic so that wasn't a concern

Wore to London for work under a blazer, easy winter/spring transition. Then wore with a bow to a birthday party. The sleeves give it some romance and styled with combat boots to give it some interest

This was great for a cold winter Saturday wedding. I'm 5'3", so sometimes a midi dress that can't be tailored is tough, but this was a great length with heels. Very comfy. A tiny bit tight on the bust, but nothing unmanageable. Great rental!

I wasn’t sure when I ordered the dress if I would like it. There is definitely a season for it. The fit was super flattering. I would order it again. I did keep having to pull the sleeves down, which was kind of annoying. I wore it to a wedding shower and to work with black tights.

I had originally rented the 4 for my birthday weekend and it was VERY tight around the ribcage and stomach. So much so that I was uncomfortable at the end of dinner and didn’t want to go to “one more drink”. I renting the 6 thinking it would likely be slight large in the shoulders, but be fine everywhere else. I was wrong. It laid heavily on me without even skimming my body. While the sizing itself was disappointing, the dress itself is stunning. Warm velvet material lends itself to colder temperatures and the tulle stuffed shoulders elevates the look even more. Long story short, rent it, but don’t eat a very large meal in it if you’re prone to bloating.

I found this somewhat oversized and wish the waist on the 0 were less loose. Not the most flattering but very comfy. I loved the black velvet with the floral stitching but it did give sort of Little House on the Prairie vibes. Tried to balance it with a moto boot.

The chest runs very small, I could only get it zipped without a bra. Once I got in, I felt beautiful and got lots of compliments!

A bit tight on the tummy for apple shapes. Fine for bigger chests. Good length for petites. Soft fabric. Good for winter, fall, or apring. Not summer.
