Lula Mini Dress

This fit beautifully. So many compliments. Love the capelet sleeves. Didn’t realize until the second wearing that it had a zipper on the side.

Could not resist this dress though it’s not my typical style. It’s a beautiful, creamy linen (lined) - therefore it will wrinkle but that didn’t bother me. The silhouette is flattering and I would imagine favorable on many body types. I wore this to a fancy birthday dinner but it would be perfect for a bridal shower!

This might be my favorite rental piece of all time. Very classy and cute and perfect to wear to dinner in the Summer. First true to size and is a great length for work (I’m 5’7”). Get your hands on this while you can!

Pros: it looked fine, didn't wrinkle too much, but a bit. Straight up and down sort of shift dress vibe. I needed to wear spanx to flatten things out. Cons: could not do up the button at the back on my own which is always a con for me.

I echo the sentiments of other reviewers about this dress. Am I wearing a table cloth? Is this chic and Provençal? Is this matronly and fussy? I don’t know. I vacillated the whole time I was wearing this dress. Pros: It is very comfortable. I’d say it runs slightly large. I’m in an XS and I could probably take in two inches on the waist- but the looseness keeps it easy and effortless. The draped capelet made it interesting enough it needed very little styling. The fabric is 100% cotton so it’s very breathable, even though it is fully lined. It was not see through which is rare for white! Cons: This is not flattering for curvy figures. The cut of the dress is literally a rectangle. The cape on top adds volume so if you are broad shouldered, or big busted I think it will be awkward. There are no pockets, and it does wrinkle quite quickly. All that being said, I wore it a couple of times. It was easy to throw on with sandals. I think you could probably dress it up with heels but that kind of defeats the point of the dress to me. It reads as an improvised shift made from a table cloth and gives off a laid back air of “I don’t care about your opinions”.

The cut outs and pattern are beautiful. Length is good and it is lined. It is shapeless in the waist area and no pockets.

This fabric is off white and if you sit & stand for work than you’ll be wrinkled. Not a great work look

I’m 5’9” and this was just way too long on me. It wasn’t flattering at all and looked awkward. It would have been so cute if it were just an inch or two shorter, in my opinion.

Earrings & Shoe changes will elevate the way you can wear this very comfortable dress. It stands apart with design detail & unique flair.

Great fit and more flattering on than on the hanger. Great everyday dress and good length even for tall girls.

Cute dress, wore to work and church

I wore this dress shopping and so many people stopped me. If you are bottom heave size up. It was a little tight around the thighs but I pulled it off.

I really liked wearing this. I was worried the cape would look/feel weird, but it didn’t! My only note is this would’ve been a perfect candidate for pockets, but alas there are none. If you are picky about snug necklines, this might be a little claustrophobic, but it didn’t bother me significantly.

I absolutely loved this dress!! The cape was everything!! I was sad to return this one. A fun piece!

Forgiving fit for summer

The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because of continual need for me to iron and de-crease clothing that I receive.

This would look great on a taller person and/ or if it were shaped just a bit at the waist, but I don't have the height to balance so much visual width at the chest and shoulders and I looked like a dorm fridge.

Love the idea and detail of this dress, but the fit is slightly off. It is more fitted at the top but baggy around the midsection, and doesn’t offer much shape. Length is great. Love the cape!

I like it. In fact I might love it. It’s weird. I might hate it? It’s too long? It sits just right? I’m going to church? But it’s a super edgy church! I’m trying to communicate my confused feelings about this dress. I ran through a lot of emotions here. lol the capelet is super cute but the length is oddly conservative. The jury is still out on this one. 🤷‍♀️

The dress is cute , a bit tablecloth ish as some reviews have stated. Easier to pull off if you are tall imo, it was more of a mini dress on me. Good for a hot day. However the dress is linen and wrinkled even while I was out at a concert.

This is a fun dress for a day event. It had a lot of material on the top, it is a conversation started but I don't think i will rent again.
