Brooke Border Smocked Dress

I wore this dress to work, to a dinner with friends, and to a Halloween event with family. I got so so so many compliments from my high school students. The bodice is stretchy and flattering but still modest if that’s your thing. The fabric is also really soft and cozy! Would buy it if I could afford it :)

Prairie but in a good way

No pockets and lining included which makes for a well made warmish dress. I still wore leggings and long boots under and it was perfect for wintery weather for a short stint outside with a motorcycle jacket. Wore regular bra with it and plenty of room.

Yes, it’s maybe a bit odd and a bit Little House on the Prairie, but I loved it. It was different and it felt fashiony and that’s what I love in clothes.

I normally wear a 4, but got a 2 and it fits perfectly since there is a bit of stretch. Really cute and light weight

This is not a maternity style, but fits a bump nicely in my pre-pregnancy size (20 weeks in this photo). I got a ton of compliments wearing it to work and it is perfect for the fall. I am keeping this one for a while for an upcoming trip to France and for work wear.

Cute dress but not great for winter. The fabric is too clingy to wear with tights. Good for early in the season or in warmer temps

This is a beautiful dress but I didn’t love it as much as I thought it would. I don’t care that much about a garment being flattering, but this looks like it would be very waist-cinching but actually was very bulky everywhere - torso, skirt, sleeves. On the other hand, the fabric was super light cotton, so it also might be better for summer or a fringe season. I ended up wearing it on a work from home day and it was good for that purpose as it’s pretty on camera and very comfortable.

Nice and lightweight for an extremely humid day in early fall, but the dress was kind of meh. And the weird cream-colored band at the waist was a mistake. I almost wore a big belt to cover that up.

I would definitely not buy this dress, but it was fun to wear for a day. I'm glad I got the 12 and not the 14 after reading reviews. There is a lot of material to this dress. This is why RTR is so great! I get to try things and send 'em back! :)

Comfortable and fun to wear -- loved the shoulder poof. Definitely felt very little house on the prairie.

wasn't my favorite, arms were a little short and length made it seem a little awkward. colors in person also brighter than the photos looked. comfortable but wouldn't rent again.

Wore this for thanksgiving, it wasn’t that flattering with someone with a larger bust.

Found this dress perfect for a work day spent running around a conference. Fabric was very lightweight and breathable, so was perfect for spring despite long sleeves. Got many compliments on how I was channeling Laura Ingalls Wilder in a professional setting, haha.

I loved this dress, it's light weight which is great for a warmer winter.

I was hesitant to get this because the print looked so prarie online. It looks even cooler in person! I loved the print, color scheme, and fit of the dress. The sleeves have a little puff without being too much. I went with the 6 because the chest is smocked and stretchy. I'm 32G/37 in chest and usually opt for an 8 to accommodate that, but the 6 fit me great (30 in waist/38 in hip)

Runs true to size has a very stretchy top, flowy roomy skirt, flowy romantic sleeves. Loved the print. Wore with brown boots to work and had so many compliments.

The shape and feel is wonderful for fall. I sized down to a four and I should have sized down to a two because it was slightly loose.

Fit TTS for Sea, I really liked the puff shoulder and length of this one (not too puffy in my opinion). It’s the perfect dress for southern winters, can dress up with a heel or more casual with boots. I wish I’d worn more than I did but transitioning onto spring.

Great dress for the chilly prespring days. Best paired with boots.
