Tip / fit: the way it ties around the waist makes you completely snatched Review: if not for the $300+ as we are entering fall, I would have purchased
Received many compliments even from people just walking by, it was comfy and flowy. I loved this dress. I wore a little bit of boob tape just to hold my girls a little closer together so it wasn’t showing too much side boob. The waist was a little tight, but I wanted that way to define my waist more. I wish I can wear it again!!
This is such a chic and elevated look. The pattern is almost like an embroidered stitching so it looks very high-end. The neck and back tie are both adjustable so you could probably go up or down in size and it will fit fine. 11/10 renting again! for more photos & videos @whimzylindzy
This dress was an incredibly well made, beautiful, high quality sundress. The gingham design was actually more of a sand and green rather than a white green gingham like it appears in some photos but I honestly preferred it that way. The fabric has beautiful sheer window details, and the dress itself is so adjustable it’s easy to make it fit how you want. It is a little heavier but that also allows it to be dressed up or more casually. Highly recommend!
I originally rented this in a size 6 since most Rosie Assoulin items I have rented before were a 6 but found I needed to size down to a 4. This is backless, with a halter tie top and a zipper but the back to your waist. Pockets! Loved the color and the style. So fresh, light and fun for summer.
This dress is so pretty! The green/neutral check pattern is a perfect combo. Top is halter with a tie back, didn’t wear a bra. Tie on back stayed tied which is always a plus! Skirt zips up, no real stretch but for TTS. Skirt flows and has pockets! Great choice for any summer function :)
Loved the material. Easy to wear. True to size. Loved for vacation
Loved the back so much. Wore for a wine tour
Sized up where I was a few weeks postpartum! Made me feel great for a date night
Open back and able to adjust! So many complements!!
Obsessed with this dress. Wore this out for errands, to dinner and to a wedding.
Almost bought. So cute comfy and perfect. Wore in Italy walking around
Stunning but a bit tight in the hips. I’m curvy in that area so take that into consideration
So fun and flirty! Ended up buying
This is one of my favorite dresses I've ever rented. It's so flattering and can be dressed up with heels or worn casually with sandals. Should have done a size down, but with the tie back it still worked. I wore it multiple times and will definitely be renting again.
So cute and nice quality. Fits well and got lots of compliments on it. Would’ve bought it if it was cheaper
Obsessed with this dress - fit perfectly and was so flattering!
This was my birthday dress this year. It looks cute from the front and the back. It fits super cute. And you can dress it up with heels or wear with flats or cute sneakers. Would rent again!
gorgeous dress. loved the material! i had to finagle sticky boob patches to make sure i fit into it, having a larger chest, but it was totally worth it. would rent again!
Took this dress to Italy for my friend’s wedding, and it was perfect for an all-day event. From shopping and lunch to wine tasting and dinner. It’s super adjustable thanks to the two straps that tie at the neck and waist, with a back zipper on the skirt being the only fixed element. It runs true to size and (bonus!) it has pockets. The fabric is breathable and comfortable for hot days, and the length offers just enough warmth if the evening cools off. I don’t own it yet, but I definitely plan to - it’s that good.
looking back… biggest regret is not buying this dress. i think it’s so versatile & comfortable & truly would look good on anyone. the neckline is adjustable & the back tie make its comfortable if you wanted to loosen to wear a strapless bra. material is so luxe … 12/10 dress
Chefs kiss, this dress is SO flattering and such a good fit. If you have a bigger just, I recommend sizing up for more room.
So many compliments on this style and it def gives you a little waist! It does show side boob so if you’re not into that, it’s not the dress for you. But I was obsesssseddd
Beautiful dress! Needed to wear a sweater due to open back during a work boat cruise.
This dress is very unique and pretty — there’s just a bit too much fabric. Kind of felt like I was swimming in it
This dress is gorgeous and looks very elevated with the fabric, yet casual enough because of the print. I wore this to two parties — a baby shower and a garden party in the hamptons. The midsection piece is a bit tight and I had to keep pulling it down to make sure it was sitting right. It was hard to get the tie in the back to remain high enough, which may have been affecting how the midsection laid. However, I would rent it again anyways.
The dress was pretty, with a great print for summer, but it ran a bit tight in the waist area and became uncomfortable after a few hours. The fabric had a wrinkled texture that I wasn't particularly fond of. Overall, it's a cute summer dress.
This pattern was beautiful and I actually wore this dress 3x but it first pretty big in the bust so I would size down. Usually with a halter I find that you can tie it tight enough to make up for it but that wasn’t really the case here
First off, the print on this is so pretty. If you can get this to fit on your body, it could be 5 stars. My problem is I have a short torso, thicker waist, and am large up top. Since I have wide-set boobs, there was too much revealed on the sides for my taste. I barely got it zipped up on my 29" waist, but got it. Check out how it's constructed on the sides in the model pics. The seams go to a V over the hips and unless you have a straight figure, it bunches up. I wore it for the day, but after a couple hours was just really uncomfortable.
Would have absolutely bought this dress if it wasn't so expensive. I adore it and hope it stays on the site for next spring/summer!
I adore all Rose Assoulin dresses! So feminine and fun. Fit perfectly!
So cute but def beware of side boob if you have big boobs. I used fashion tape to hold it up
Loved this on much- tracked it for weeks to bring to the east coast. Perfect dress for Martha’s Vineyard!! So insanely flattering and the style is so unique.
Will rent again.
I loved the fit and colors of this dress so much. It was fitted and flowy in the right places! I wore with brown flip flops for a more casual outfit to go to some wineries but you could dress it up with a nude or white heel! May buy in the future.
I wore this dress to Napa for the day. It was a light-weight material that held its shape well throughout the day (no wrinkles). I found the fit to be true to size.
I loved everything about this - the color, patterns, fabric and fit. It was such a lovely dress. I did have to tape my chest because a strapless bra would have shown but if you have smaller chest I imagine you could probably get away without one
I honestly didn’t think much of this when it dropped, but I trust the designer. I’m not a girly dress gal. It was much more fun than I’d hoped! I don’t love anything too tight on my waist, and the ties let you adjust to your preference. It was honestly very elegant and fun. I paired with a checkered handbag and had a ball!
Got tons of compliments, it fit perfect (usually a size 8) so maybe size up?
