Red Velvet Alicia Dress

Amazing color, amazing dress, had so many compliments all night, stunning Hollywood glam.

Gorgeous dress, color and forgiving material except for the arms. Loved wearing it and felt so spect!! So many compliments. I tried so many dresses since I waited too late for holidays and RTR CS was super helpful on multiple calls. Sometimes hard to find a 0 dress with a 30 DDD so this one was perfect!! Nothing negative at all. You will love it!!

I'm 5'4" 125ish. I wear a 32d and usually a size 2. I wore the XSR. I will say the slit does go high. I had to be very conscious of the way I was sitting. I wore this for a formal masquerade my work was having at the Magic Castle in LA. I wanted something more unique then just another black dress, and this was the perfect one. I definitely felt like I was in a Victorian murder mystery walking through the ominous halls of the castle. Unfortunately, no one questioned me about my husband's murder, but I did get picked to be a part of a magic show! The shoulder pads add a classic drama, and the roushing around the waist blended the soft lines my Spanx leave. The fabric is super stretchy, however the dress does limit the range of motion of your arms. Wasn't a big deal for me since I wasn't dancing or needed to lift my arms over my head. If your looking to get compliments on you dress all night, this is the one.

What a statement! I had compliments galore. This dress was so trendy, but comfortable and sexy. I got a medium because the small wasn't available and glad I did. While it does have stretch, if you're curvy like me (hips), I would size up. It was a cold night and I was comfortably warm from the velvet. I loved it so much I wish I had somewhere else to wear it to. If you want to take a risk without breaking the bank, this dress is it! You won't be sorry.

I rented this dress for a photo shoot, and it was perfect! It's an amazing, unique statement dress. It fit perfectly. I'm usually a size 2, and I wore an XS. The neckline is just low enough without plunging too much. The back is open, which eliminates your ability to wear a bra. It rides up a little when you walk, but isn't a big deal. I loved my photos and got the most compliments on the dress.

Loved the dress. I wore it to a Halloween event with some witchy accessories, but it would also work for fall or winter weddings or special events. It is tight in the hips - I would size up if you have hips - and fitted in the shoulders and chest. The slit is HIGH. The dress was gorgeous when standing up but if you're sitting/standing a lot, expect to readjust because the slit really gets up there.

As the bridal party was to wear something in the berry-to-burgundy family, this dress is truly a show stopper! The velvet feels scrumptious, and I got compliments all night. Note the slit in front might feel high for some, and I had to buy some of the sticky silicone cups in lieu of a bra. But everything stayed in place. Only minor adjustments had to be made when we were dancing. I’d love another occasion to rent this stunning dress again.

Love the color, fabric, & print of this perfect Gala gown for the Rare Voice Awards, it looked beautiful sitting down in my wheelchair and photographed gorgeously. Cannot recommend enough, a must rent gown!

This dress is perfect for a winter formal event. It gave off old Hollywood vibes. I received so many compliments! The only negative, you have to be careful of the slit in front it can ride up high.

Loved this dress and received so many compliments! The stretchy fabric is super flattering and forgiving. At 5’10”/135, I really could’ve gone with the small or the medium, but I decided on the small because I liked how it hugged the hips. Don’t plan on wearing a bra with this one! I’m quite small chested, so that wasn’t a problem for me but might be for others. The dress was definitely shorter on me than what is pictured on the model, but I felt like the hemline worked just fine for that.

This dress was a knock out! The open back, the perfect rouching, the color…. I was attending a wedding 10 weeks postpartum and wanted a dress that was flattering, sexy & also hid and hugged the new mom bod a bit. I went up in size more for the height of the slit than anything else. You will not regret wearing this!

I have small boobs so I just wore bandaids but I’d suggest individual sticky boobs

This dress looked amazing on. It fit perfectly. I wore shape wear but the fabric doesn’t show every inch of cellulite and some would do just fine without.

The cut of the dress and the materials are beautiful. I used boob tape because a bra was not an option with the open back of the dress. The slit in the front can be a little high, but still manageable. I love this dress.

I love love loved this dress! It hugged the curves so perfectly and the ruching was so flattering and made my waist feel tiny. The color and fabric felt so luxe and a little old school glam. It was perfect for a November black tie wedding. I could have probably worn a size down too because the top is a little bigger. Totally recommend!

The dress is so comfortable and gives you amazing shape. It does have a back slit which hit at an odd way but simply fixed it with fashion tape. I have larger bust and because it was a work event I also taped the cleavage area as it was too low. The length is perfect for us short peeps.

Wore this 18 weeks pregnant and it fit nicely! The back was a bit open and loose so hard to bobby pin it but other than that fit great!

This dress was unbelievably comfortable. Being low cut in the front and back, I used boob tape in place of a bra. The fit was great, I was able to dance, and the ruching allowed me to skip shape-ware. The large shoulders are on point with current trends. I received tons of compliments, and would definitely recommend.

I knew this was "the one" for my husband's formal work dinner. Luxurious velvet in beautiful garnet color. Length and sleeves were perfect for chilly spring night. I fit into the XS but had to pull the dress down to keep the slit from riding too high. Girlfriends and coworkers adored the dress. I fell in love with it too.

I am 5'7'' and around 130 lb and the small was perfect. Probably could've worn the xtra small for a tighter fit but the small was very comfortable.

Dress was beautiful! Fit perfectly & got so many compliments on it. Paired it with the unreal fur jacket from RTR as well. Was exactly what I wanted & kept me warm all night! The dress fit TTS and was very flattering, would absolutely rent again for another wedding.

Loved the color. The material is perfect for winter/fall. A little odd (loose fit) in my lower back area for my petite frame. Fortunately was able to hide the imperfection. Loved the dress with its imperfection

Wore this for the "fancy" part of a family photoshoot. I wore a bra with it, which you would not be able to otherwise do because the back is open. If I were to rent this dress again and wear it for an actual social occasion I would have to use boob tape. I am 5'3", 135 pounds, 34C and the medium fit fine but I did need shape wear so I wore control top hose. Beautiful dress, don't know if I would rent again just because it is a little high maintenance in the boobage area

In love with this dress! I rented it for a Halloween themed Murder mystery dinner one weekend, and a black tie wedding the following weekend. It was absolutely perfect for the dinner, but I was pulling my dress down all night at the wedding. If you plan to be a "dancing queen" like me, then maybe opt for something else. However, I got SOOO many compliments on the dress! Love love loved it!

This dress is perfect for a cold weather wedding! And it's stretchy!

My only con is that it rode up so I had to pull it down often so the split wasn’t too revealing.
