I normally wear a L and ordered the XL after reading comments. But it ended up being a little looser than expected

Some reviews say that the dress is too short, and if you’re any taller than me at 5’2” I agree. (5’3” could also get away with it) But for me this was the perfect length for a Vegas club! The structure of the dress perfectly hugged all of the right places and was also loose in all of the right places. Adjustable straps. I wore pasties and fashion taped the cowl neck front so there wouldn’t be any slippage.

As a bunch of reviews, yes, this is a very short dress (I have a petite frame/torso and it was still very short). I ended up pairing it with a coat for an evening date, so didn't take my coat all night 😅 Still, my boyfriend agreed that it was a very sexy outfit combo. The material is amazing! Does wrinkle, but not easily. Would've kept it if it was a tad longer.

I wore this with my over the shoulder Bottega camera bag and strappy silver heels for a night on one the town. I received so many compliments. The dress definitely made a moment!

I got the M based on the reviews. I think the S would've fit a bit better but the dress was already pretty short even though I'm only 5'2"!

Wow—this is no cheap slip dress! It hugs in all the right places and I was obsessed. Definitely runs short though—perfect for my petite girls (I’m 5 ft and it was still very short). I’d absolutely rent again

This is very short. I wore it to dinner in Miami so it was fine super short. But some other places it would not work. I had the extra small and small. But the small seemed shorted than the x small. I recommend get two sizes and try both on. :)

This is such a fun easy dress. It is a little on the short side but I was standing and dancing all night so no issues for me. Material does not have much stretch. If you’ll be sitting a lot you might think twice. No bra needed.

I took the other reviewers’ advice and sized up. I’m glad I did. This would’ve been too short and small in my normal size.

i wore this to a bach. it’s as short as everyone says but works great for petite gals as long as you don’t need to get into a big SUV uber. i got lots of compliments on it. feels very clubby

The comments don’t lie! This dress was short. Normally a small but sized up to a medium hoping it would be a tad longer, was slightly big in the boobs and the straps kept falling down however i loved the dress. Would def rent again but size down. Only short when sitting

Perfect dress for a casual dinner or vacation. In true Retrofete fashion it is short and sweet. Functions best sans bra. I’ve rented this dress several times.

As an extreme petite, I have a hard time finding things that are small enough. This dress was perfect. Tiny, short, sexy and ready for a party. Did not cling to any weird places. Straps were not adjustable but the front did not go too low. One thing to note, it is extremely short. It was hard to sit down and get out of cabs (not a complaint, as I can never find dresses short enough). It may be problematic if you’re taller than 5’4”.

I loved this dress it was perfect for vacation but I am 5'3 and it was still short on me! Was a vacation fit so it worked but I would be mindful if taller. Super comfy! Have rented it twice.

This was really cute for my night out at south beach Miami! It was a bit short for my liking. I have a larger chest, and it didn’t give much support. Other than that? Loved the colors and the materials! If you’re a bigger girl, I would just size up.

Medium fit me well! length was fine for Miami clubs but just knew I’d be uncomfortable so wore something else. There are black annoying hanging straps that RTR says to not cut.. they will show through

Fit like a dream! A little tight at the hips if you're curvy but ultimately not an issue.

So cute! I am 5 2 149 and DD. Very short and top was big but perfect for going out on vacation in Florida. Comfy to wear.
