Compact Jersey Square Neck Dress

The fabric is thick and comfy, I felt like I was wearing pajamas but looked chic. The straps are a cool feature, giving the dress a little wow factor to an overall minimal shape. This is definitely more of a winter dress. It’s very warm and it’s doesn’t style well with delicate shoes. It looked best with tall boots. The side slit is very high. Super chic but may you want to wear tights for the office. Overall the quality is very good and it’s super wearable if you have that right shoes.

Was a little tight around the shoulders and chest, might recommend a size up

Almost all black dresses are better in real life than in photos and this one is no different. What I loved about this dress was a combination of the sexy neckline and the cut and construction of this dress. Specifically, the seams on this dress are figure flattering - starting with the front seam down the middle that flattens and lengthens. There are also panels on each side of the dress to keep from awkward bunching. As with many Proenza Schouler designs, consider sizing down if you're between.

Wore this to dinner and a show and loved it! Very comfortable and warm. Material is a little thicker so it’s great for fall and winter.

Perfect dress for the office. Fits so well I don't need to wear a bra. Material is thick and high quality, love the shoulder straps, adds an element of sexiness to it. Looks a lot better in person than in pictures. Makes for a great winter work dress. The dress fits kind of bodycon and the length is midi. True to size.

The dress is thick, almost sweatshirt material, so although the silhouette is dressy, it’s very comfortable.

I loved the material, but the line and fit was a bit too modest for me. It didn’t feel like me.

This dress was thick and would’ve been really comfy if I’d sized up. I just don’t love how it looked on me. I am pretty fit, and this for some reason made me feel frumpy. Also, just changed my hair color, so I’m a “Soft Autumn”, which apparently does not go well with a stark black. That prolly played into it, tbh.

Loved it, fun to wear! Perfect for a night out in NYC.

Dressed up or down, this versatile piece lends sophisticated feminine flair. The weight is just as heavy as it needs to be to gently hug and gracefully hang. Loved it.

It was a little snug due to lack of stretch but fit accurately. Good for work or everyday, but is a little more structured.

I was in Florida when I received this dress in M and L(I'm between sizes). The material is very heavy, so it was too heavy for Florida. Would be cuter if one of the sizes fit me better and i was in a colder climate.

The dress is a really nice thick fabric however it runs a lot larger than expected. It is also very long - I am 5'8 and it seemed long on me! The straps are also a little farther in than I expected - overall the dress is okay but I wanted a tight fitting, sexy look for an anniversary dinner and it did not deliver the way that I had hoped.

Was really looking forward to receiving this dress and it looking amazing but unfortunately, it didn't do for me. It was way too large and the material is extremely thick. I thought the fabric was going to be much lighter. Not sure with spring/summer weather that this would work. You will get warm in it!

Really beautiful dress but does not fit well if you are curvy.

This item runs so small, so size up. The material also looks nothing like the image and is more of a scuba material. I honestly didn't even wear it and rented something else because it looked so bad.

I've worn this dress a few times and it's a solid basic but even with the straps, I don't think it's super special. The weight is fairly heavy and at 5'3" it's a bit longer than I'd like. It's a good workhorse if you need an option for travel.
