This is a great dress - it’s got a casual silhouette (shaped like a T-shirt) but the fabric, length, and style of the pleated insert make it very elevated and edgy but whimsical. It’s not knit, although it has a very small amount of stretch. Runs true to size, cut straight and not fitted but a bit slim/stuff through the shoulders and bust (not unlike a Marni fit).

This is super comfy. I got lots of compliments on the yellow part it’s very relaxed but love that it has a little something unexpected.

Love this dress. So springy and effortless. I love the butter yellow detailing (color of the season!!!) and will definitely be living in this in the summer when it gets really warm. Highly rec!

Though this dress wasn’t a hit, it is exactly the kind of unique style that makes RTR fun. I get to try something with no risk that would otherwise be cost prohibitive. I did have to steam it and cinched with a belt to give it some shape. Think I could have sized down. The fabric is also a little sheer, as others have said. So nude undergarments were necessary.

This was a good idea but a drop waist is really hard to fit well on every body. This should’ve been a 2 piece set then it would adjust to hit on people’s waist and hips correctly. If you want to try butter yellow this is a great way to do it. My outfit matched the color palette of the restaurant, looked like I was shooting for a magazine while seated. But then, I got up lol. As you can see it wrinkles substantially, so would recommend maybe for a cocktail hour or more standing? I’m glad I tried it, not sad about it/not a wasted spot at all, but wouldn’t repeat.

I rented this when it first came out and with this mid-sized, attached slip inside I could barely get it on or move, so I sized up. The slip was already loosely sewn in, so either by mistake or design (did someone cut the slip out?? rude, but it works!) The dress now fits perfectly. Boxy and elegant.
Fun, oversized but not sloppy fit. Do not size down or dress will not hang right and will be uncomfortable since there is no give. On the Plan C website, they show the dress with a paracord belt, which I'm going to try the next time I rent.
Another RTR piece that can be styled several ways. It can be worn as is or with a belt. The pleats give a pop of color and flair.

It’s a little heavy
This ran small in the hips for me despite being pretty large in the top. It comes with a slip which is nice but that seemed to run about half a size smaller than the dress. I'm usually a 2-4 and sized down to an XS in this based on the shape but should have gotten a S
You could see through it

The color and fit were so cute, but the fabric made this unwearable. The white fabric is a stiff cotton. It wrinkled within a minute of sitting with a really unflattering wrinkle around my butt.
The fabric is so thin you can see through everything. You'll need a full length slip.

Bulky, and hard to get on. Would not recommend. Looks like a comforter!
