Philippa Dress

Didn’t wear this to an upscale party in the end. I chose this dress to try on as it looked fantastic on so many other woman - of all shapes and sizes. On me I really liked the overall look of this one - the fabric and sequins felt and looked high end, the deep blue color was rich, the wrap draping was perfect for hourglass figures including hiding any belly bumps. But, in the end I think the wrap dress in a dark color looked too close to the many work dresses I wear it wasn’t as unique as what I was looking for the event. In fact it would be perfect if I had a work party to go to and will for sure order it for that type of event in the future.

This dress was a great length (I’m 6’0) and had plenty of sparkle. I got compliments all night. I was able to wear a regular bra and that’s always a plus. My hair did catch on the sequins but I figured that would happen. This is a dress I would rent again.

Rented as a backup, but it ended up being the dress I chose to wear! It wasn’t super slimming on the waist (it was a little big on the waist), but I got compliments! I wore it for a “glam” gala, and it worked well for it! It was super comfortable and was a good length. I wore it in May in Florida, and I wasn’t hot, even with the sleeves. My favorite part was that I could wear a regular bra with it!

Fit was great. True to size. A little shorter than I'd normally wear but the long sleeves were a good balance. Tons of compliments. Gorgeous color.

This was a perfect dress for hosting a comedy show for a benefit. It fit perfectly! I have small boobs so had to put inserts! If you are well endowed your girls will give people a nice show! I will rent this again!

I'm definitely a pear and on the taller side so wore short athletic shorts under just for added security when getting out of a car or in a picnic table. It's really comfortable other than that, and beautiful color. Great cleavage expression and good for curves, just beware of the length.

I wore this dress to an International Women's Day celebration. I received so many compliments all evening and I was so comfortable the entire night. I now wear size 4, but the size 6 fit just fine. I think the 4 may have been a bit too short. I would definitely recommend this dress!

It didn’t arrive early enough in the evening for me to wear to the party that encouraged “sparkle“, and it’s not the most flattering for my lack of waistline. But still, I loved this dress! My husband really really liked it, which always makes you feel good. Seems like it’s kind of an older dress at RTR, but it seemed to be in really good shape. It was easy to put on and zip up and has wonderful Stretch but still good coverage. I love the midnight/navy blue. Seems very true to size. Short but not crazy short.

I rented 6 dresses to try on for this winter ball. I choose this one because of the unique blue color and the sparkle. The fit was perfect. I got a ton of compliments. I highly recommend it!

The top has a little hook. I had a body shaper slip underneath and a bit of that showed but just helped cover my cleavage a bit.

I wore it to my uncle's wedding! For how sparkly it is, you would think it was itchy, but it was super comfy. I wore spanx underneath to feel more comfy dancing on the dance floor. Also, I was showered in compliments on how pretty the dress was and how good it looked. I would rent again 10/10!

This dress is such a great fit, TTS. It’s on the shorter side, shows just enough everywhere, and is so much fun!

This dress was really comfortable and fit perfectly. I’m typically an 8, but this 6 fit great. If your chest is on the larger side you may need a pin to keep the top closed, the snap popped open a few times! Even then I wasn’t too exposed so it wasn’t a huge deal. Loved this dress!

This dress fit great! I am 5’2 and it was a tad shorter than what I wld normally wear but I loved it. Got so many compliments and my husband especially loved it.

Currently 7 months post partum, 175lbs, 5’5”. I wore the 8 but probably needed the 10 as it was super short. It is a gorgeous dress and i loved the ruching design that went over the belly area. The fabric wasn’t itchy and the sequins only caught a couple of times. Prefect for the Desert Disco themed Bachelorette!

Loved this one! Wore it to a sorority anniversary dinner. Comfortable & flattering. Size 4 fit like a glove but was a tad short. I ended up wearing a 6, but needed fashion tape for the top which was too big. Not a big deal and I didn’t want to send it back!

I’m 5’8 and about 145lbs. The 6 fit perfect. A tad short but very stretchy, comfortable and flattering! Definitely recommend for a winter or holiday event.

Absolutely loved this dress! Wore it to my company holiday party and got so many compliments. It was surprisingly comfortable and fit like a glove. Based on other reviews I ordered a size 8 and size 10 but ended up wearing the 8. Both fit me but the 8 was a little more snug without being too tight. Would definitely rent this dress again!

The dress fit perfectly except for the chest. I am a 34D and still had extra room but nothing a safety pin couldn't fix. I felt very comfortable in the dress and received many compliments. I am a size 6 and wore a 6 in this dress. Highly recommend.

Loved this dress!! I got so many compliments. The dress was very forgiving in the belly area ( especially with having babies ) my very first time with rent the runway and it was alot of fun ! I give 5 stars and will do it again for my next event!!⁹

This dress was amazing! Beautiful color, comfortable, and not itchy! The arms are nice because they are a lighter fabric so you don’t feel trapped by heavy sequins. I will say, it is very low cut. Used a few safety pins to make it modest (but even with two pins there was definitely some cleavage). But I could wear a bra!!! My husband was definitely a fan of the dress and I received compliments from everyone—definitely a way to stand out. I unfortunately didn’t take pictures where you can see the full dress. So a picture of me with the piggybank prize I won will have to do
