Blue Lace Victorian Dress

So truth be told I wore this to Dickens on the Strand as a Victorian costume and got lots of compliments. You really could wear it to a spring time tea or the Kentucky derby with a cute hat. It was heavy as in kept me warm and I just wore boots and a coat in blustery wind. Well made and beautiful. This is not a great picture because of the coat blocking the beautiful sleeves.

The buttons can be a challenge, but I only unbuttoned the top 4 for slipping over my head, so it was not an issue.

I wore this to my daughter’s high school graduation. It was perfect. I love the color and it was elegant and classy! I wore it with nice wedges. Can dress it up or down. Would definitely rent again!

This would be too heavy for summer but was perfect for a chilly conference room. I'm usually a 12 and found that the 14 stretched/gaped a bit around the waist - would have been better if the buttons on the bottom were faux.

A really pretty dress, pretty icy blue color, but the cut/fit is a bit blah. It’s not purposefully oversized or shapeless (which I do like), but it’s sort of shaped as if it intends to be fitted and is lumpily blousy. Not bad, but might look better on a person for whom it was tighter around the waist.

The color, the material, the fit, the DETAIL. Every single thing about it is truly perfect. I wore it with combat boots but could have done with heels, sandals, sneakers, it's day to night and night to day. It's everything and more!!!!

Puffy sleeves rode up a tad a bit for me but it's a beautiful dress.

I am in love with this dress! It's lined in the skirt and has a sheer panel of lace at the bust, with strategic lining so you can still wear a bra if you want. The puff sleeve elastic was fine, I pulled them down to adjust but it wasn't too annoying. Compliments all day, added a belt bc the elastic waistband was too loose on me. No pockets though, but everything else is perfection.

Really great quality but I wanted to like the design and fit more than I did. I think for me personally, I would have liked better if it buttoned to the neck but it would have been too tight. It didn't fit as great semi unbuttoned but loved the lace and color.

This would have been a lovely dress to wear to a spring or summer wedding, but be warned that the material is very heavy. I ordered it during the month of August, but did not wear it because I would be too hot.
