The reviews are right- the dress DOES run small. I’m a 4/6, and rented the medium. I’ve got a 34D chest — so of course, like other reviewers said, the buttons in the bust were pulling when wearing a normal bra. So, I wore a sports bra under and that was the PERFECT solve. Truly, the dress fit like a glove and I am completely obsessed. I will definitely rent again! Tldr- take a size up or go with the larger size if you’re between sizes. If you’re busty, a sports bra solves the problem and makes this dress fit like a million bucks!
The waist is big, and when I tried to tie the waist to cinch it in, it pulled the buttons apart and there was a gap that showed skin. I didn’t think I was going to be able to wear it. I ended up wrapping the ties in a different way (shown in the photo) which allowed me to cinch the waist more attractively. I don’t think it was meant to be tied like this but I liked it once i figured it out.
Pretty dress and good for work. But it does wrinkle easily and was a little snug in the chest
TTS. A lot of cotton material that kept a poofy look.
Loved the color and style but It was so tight at the bust I had to leave it unbuttoned and wear a slip under. I suggest sizing up.
Maybe if I had ironed this it would have been better. It was very comfortable and easy, but nothing to write home about—it was kind of shabby
I liked this dress as a casual or work dress. It could be more formal if you really take an iron to it. The full buttons up the neck and cap-sleeveless is unique, so great for mixing up your style. Other reviewers mention a tight chest, but I have a small bust and could wear this with a padded bra without problem. Has pockets!
I didn’t listen to the other reviews when they said size up because I thought it was a big chested girls problem. It’s not whatever you think your size is go one up
Loved it, perfect dress, just the color wasn't my taste when it came. Highly recommend though! Fit perfectly

Just right
Absolutely loved it . True to size, classy fit. I went to brunch with and explored around the museum.
Good easy fit and get lots of compliments
Very stylish and cute
Very fitted in the bust but super flattering. Unfortunately the bottoms don’t go to the bottom of the dress and the slit was too high for me to wear as it’s directly up the center
This was SO cute, fit everywhere but the bust. The color was great, loved the subtle stitched pattern on it. Would have been great for work, but as stated would not close over my girls.
I’m usually a size Large and not even the XLarge fits me :(
Fits true to size
I’m a pretty solid XL and this “XL” wouldn’t button more than a few buttons. It runs way small, more like a Medium. I’m so surprised.
This is insanely ill sized.
Too small!
Incredibly small in bust area. I could not even to button it up. The could not wear it at all. I wear size s or sometime xs.
It was too small
Couldn't get this to fully button across my bust (34DD). I did love the color, and the high collar, but would recommend sizing up.
It looks so good on the model, and so Little House on the Prairie on me! Way too much volume + length combined in the skirt, and I'm someone who is usually tall enough to pull off midis. Also, there was a little pulling over the chest for me, and the color was duller in person. Couldn't even get myself to wear it to work for one day. Oh well.
Beautiful dress, but the fabric is a bit thin. Didn’t wear it—still figuring out my size.
Just okay. The bottom part is too full in my opinion, it looked bulky. The top part fits a little tight.

Didn't love the fit/fabric
This fit well but the buttons gaped open, even thought I have a small bust.

Very wrinkly, and made me feel very conservative rather than stylish (which could be your thing, just wasn't mine), didn't want to wear around the city :(
