Tiered Ruffle Shirtdress

This dress was a joy to wear, as comfortable as it is lovely. Every time I had it on people commented on how beautiful my dress looked, and I loved wearing it ❤️

Feared the dress would be too long, but it wasn’t. Sat right on top of my feet, and I wore flats. Loved the layers of ruffles, the fit, the comfort. This dress can easily be casual or date night outfit. I received many compliments at church and on an outing with Mom.

Loved this dress so much for a rehearsal dinner! A lot of buttons up the front so prepare for that but it’s flattering. The material has no give so if you are in between sizes, size up! The ruffles are so fun and cute!

I took this gown to the Kentucky Derby Gala and here is what I learned: - Plan to steam out the wrinkles - It accentuated my waistline well - It is buttons all the way down the front - Medium to small chested women can wear this dress. If you are blessed with a chest, the buttons won’t close on the front - Size 8 was a bit snug around my tummy and would NOT button over my chest. Size 10 was barely perfect, any smaller the chest size would have been too small. - No stretch to the fabric More measurements: 40inch hips

Loved this dress! I wore this for a wedding with a catholic ceremony so I wanted more cover. I typically wear a size 14 dress and size 16 pant, this fit perfectly.

I loved this dress. It was super light cotton which was perfect for summer even though it was a longer dress. I'm 5'4 and it fit above my ankles which was a little awkward because it wasn't mid length but wasn't maxi, but I'm used to that. It fit well in the chest area which is a plus too.

The beetles on this were a quirky surprise. I thought the print was all flowers. I wasn't sure if this dress would fit around my hips while securing all of the little buttons, but I made it! Also the fabric was forgiving in that it seemed to stretch a little to fit comfortably all day long. I didn't have any issues all day with buttons popping out while sitting to drive to work or in the office. Also no bunching. The waist hung a little loose, so I paired with a wide white belt.

I rented this dress for a work photoshoot, holy cow!! I felt like a million bucks. I loved this print and the feel of the cinched waist with the ruffles was fabulous. It's very figure flattering! I ended up renting the blue and white dress from this designer because I was so impressed. I rented this dress in a size 6, which is slightly smaller that I usually go. I could have gone up a size, but overall loved the fit. For reference, I'm 5'3" and 170lbs.

I'm now almost always a 4, and the 2 was still fairly spacious. Great print though and felt nice and lightweight despite the length and layers for summer!

Ruffles are darling and it felt frilly and fun. Almost bought it given the fabulous purchase price but restrained myself.

This was a fun dress that fit well and was comfortable. I wore a belt to break it up. The fabric is easily wrinkled which is annoying when traveling but I’d wear this dress again

Wore twice at a work function and then at an evening conference event and considered buying. Easy to put on but needs a belt to cinch the waist in. Loved the look! Just wish it had pockets.

I wore this dress to work with a blazer and then took it out for three hours of ballroom dance and I think it is a TRUE testament to this dress that I never got uncomfortable ONCE throughout the day and I was able to dance completely unrestricted. The buttons do go all the way down the front of the dress which I was worried about since usually I deal with gapage because of my bust, but there was some kind of fashion tape (not sure if it's built into the dress, if RTR added it in, or if it is left over from when someone else rented the dress) that meant I only had to worry about the top 3 buttons and it kept everything together very nicely. There is a cover for the buttons too that helped when I was dancing so even if something flew open before I could catch it, I wasn't exposed which was so reassuring. It is a FUN dress to wear and I am so glad that I had a chance to take it out for a spin. Highly recommended!!

I am 5'4" 127lbs with a 36B chest size and I wore the size 4 - it fit great! It wasn't tight anywhere but also wasn't loose anywhere - just perfectly comfortable and complimentary for me. I wore it ALL DAY (10 hours straight) at the Kentucky Derby and it was such a great dress for that event - the material is cotton but very light and even with the ruffles it was not too heavy or hot at all - the weather was a bit overcast to be honest so I also wore a sheer black scarf that I draped around my arms in case the wind picked up - which it didn't, so it was just a nice accessory for the dress. Also, I opted to wear a slim belt, as I noticed several other ladies said in their reviews too, as I preferred the look of the dress with a belt and it does not come with one. I must say that I had to iron each ruffle before I wore it as this dress does wrinkle easily and I was aware to smooth out the backside ruffles before sitting down so they wouldn't be folded up throughout the event. I ended up buying this dress because I liked it so much!

Met my dear friend visiting from out of town and when I walked in to dinner she said “I’ve rented this dress too!” So it’s highly recommended by both of us. Very fun, lightweight, flattering. I’m 5’2” and I wore with low heels.

This dress is very light and absolutely beautiful! I felt beautiful in this dress and didn’t want to take it off. I added a belt and it looked even more flattering. Definitely recommend!

I wore this dress to my son’s school event, and it was perfect! I was worried about the size as I started buttoning it the first time, but it had a bit of stretch that makes it fit wonderfully! Highly recommend!

I LOVED this dress. As others have noted, it was a tad snug through the hips but nothing noticeable or uncomfortable. Needed a belt to add definition, but this is so fun, unique, flattering and high quality.

This is a dress I'd never think to buy, but threw it into my shipment and ended up loving it on. I got so many compliments - felt truly unique and stylish. Structured, but still light and comfy for summer. Plus you can wear a normal bra!! I belted it to add a little shape at the wait.

Really did love this dress. Fit great. Thought it was a little tight when buttoning around the thighs but when standing was perfect. Added a thick belt and just made it. Wore to my Sons birthday party and got many compliments.

Loved this dress. Ran true to size and got so many compliments on the ruffles. Only complaint is that the last button down by my knees wouldn’t stay closed because the button was too loose, so I had to safety pin the bottom button. Very conservative and cute for a church bridal shower!

I rented my normal size, since I'm 5 months pregnant and the reviews said to size up. It was a close one! I was just able to button it over my belly and pull it off. I agree with the other positive review. It is true to size, it just had a lot of fabric at the bottom.. which I LOVE The layered skirt is fun. The pattern with the little beetles is fun. I'm 5'3" and the length was perfect with flats I probably wouldn't rent again but it was really fun to wear once.

This dress is a bit loose and has a lot of fabric / fabric heavy at the bottom. But it still looked fabulous. It’s definitely not an everyday dress to run errands but appropriate for a weeknight dinner with friends or as a vacation dinner dress.

I wanted to love this dress but it’s a no… too big, too long, extra fabric.

I got a 12, when I knew I would probably need a 14. It fit and was super cute from the waist down, but I couldn't button it over my boobs. Maybe when a 14 becomes available I'll grab it.

The pattern has beetles on it which I did not notice online and did not like. The pleats open weirdly in the front and show the yellow underneath when it feels like they shouldn’t. I guess it fit fine….but really it’s not flattering at all.

I wanted to love this. I thought the print was really cute and I love a good flowy maxi dress. But this was so unflattering and so voluminous that I just couldn’t make it work. Too many layers, not rough structure. Looked like a mummu.

Although I got a lot of compliments on this dress, it's fit was a little off. It was tight in the hips, but the ruffles hid it, and a little tight in the bust. It was good for a day at school.
