Black Illusion Mini Dress

This is a great dress. I was able to wear a normal strapless bra. It’s very flattering-the top is flirty and peaks at skin and the skirt helps hide the belly. Comfortable and got lots of compliments.

This dress is so beautiful and very flattering. Can easily be dressed up or made a little more casual. I wore it with black sheer stockings and booties to make it a little more casual for a date night and felt wonderful in it all night. I’m usually a size 0 or a 2 and got the 0, which fit perfectly.

I've rented this twice now. I love it!

Wore this for NYE party and it was great. Flattering fit, comfy all night. The material is very matte and has a little stretch so it really hides any problem areas. I'm a 36C and after trying it with an adhesive silicone bra, I went bra-less because it looked better a little less filled-out in the blouson top. I added the belt to give some edge and accentuate my waist. Husband loved it and got a lot of compliments. I recommend to size up if you have curves on bottom.

I was nervous about this rental since I had read the negative reviews but glad that I have it a try. It fit like a glove and I wore it to the theater. I'm a solid 8 and 36B and fit in all the right places and accentuated my curves. I wore with a strapless bra. Length hit me mid thigh (I'm 5'5"). I ended up really loving this dress and got lots of compliments!

Took a risk on this dress and glad I did! Wore it for my husbands Halloween birthday date and felt fabulous in it. Very comfortable to wear. The 0 and 2 both fit nicely--I went with the 0 for a sleeker fit.

I rely heavily on reviews, so I'm always hesitant to rent new additions that don't have any reviews. I just couldn't move past this one despite 0 reviews. Glad I trusted my instincts and rented this beautiful dress. I rented 4 dresses to give myself plenty of choices for a special night. Loved all 4 of them, but this one was WOW! I wore it on October 2nd and even though I never write reviews after 7 years of using RTR, I just feel ill be doing this dress injustice unless I write this :)

Overall it’s a cute take on a little black dress but if your arms are a bit on the larger size it’ll be uncomfortable or you won’t be able to wear it since the arms are too tight.

True to size, I would've loved the length to be a bit shorter and I wasn't a fan of the flaps in the front. But overall was a great choice!

I rented a size 2 for a possible outfit for my sister's wedding rehearsal dinner in November. I'm 5'2". The length was good, and this dress is a nice material. I probably could've made it work for the rehearsal dinner in a pinch, but rented a few other items that fit me better so I returned this one. This was fitted through the waist (26") and hips (40") but I have a small chest (B cup, 33") and the material up top was just way too much for me to fill out. It looked really floppy on my frame. This would probably look great on someone with a larger bust!

I went up a size, and it was still tight around the arms and pretty snug in the lower body. Going any higher would've made the top too big. If you are blessed with a larger bottom half - this will run tight, and you will pull down the dress all night. I got compliments but wasn't always comfortable.

Fit true to size. Not tight, lots of wiggle room to eat comfortably. You need a strapless bra. Unique and different little black dress.

I can't normally wear high necklines, but was optimistic when I saw photos of women who have a similar shape as me. This is such a flattering dress if you have a little bit more in the chest and hip area. Soooo happy I found this dress. It was flattering, comfortable, and I felt great in it!

Great fit. The mesh/lace top is so pretty. Skirt is fitted but not uncomfortable. Would rent again.
