Racing Stripe Plaid Top

I ordered this top because it has such a unique design, but I didn’t know where I would wear it. I had a western sorority event to attend and ended up wearing it as a dress!! It was a bit short in the center but I got soooo many compliments.

Crazy. Cool. Different. Lots of compliments! Will rent again.

Flattering fit. Very interesting top. Wore it to Ferrari race day.

Slightly tight in arm

This top was everything. Felt so stylish and unique and got so many compliments. Layered over a black long sleeve to wear to work. Top was a bit tight in the armpits, but not to the point of not fitting, just snug.

Love MONSE and this was one of my faves a few years ago when it first debuted. Rented again for the 4th holiday. When I saw it was highly discounted and still in great condition?! Well- 🤑 a must keep!

This is such a fun top to go a bit out of your comfort zone. The straps took a minute to figure out but once I did, magic! I’d purchase this as a unique closet staple if it wasn’t $1400 😅

I just loved this. This was a backup and should've been first choice. It was so much fun to wear and got compliments all night. Fit was great. Didn't have any tight areas and covered up some of the bad ones. Could dress up but I went in the other direction. This had to be one of my favorite rentals.

Got the matching top and pants. Stunning. Getting the straps / ribbons arranged properly was a challenge, but I managed by looking at the photos in the app. The top did twist a bit while wearing and my friend helped me straighten it a couple times. That helped the ribbons stay up. Worth it though. So cute.

I am 4'11 so I was worried this would be overwhelming on my frame... it is quite a statement but it fit so well at the top that it wasn't overwhelming (someone said it was tight under the arms, which might be true if you are not infant sized like me, but for ref I'm a 34B but did not wear any bra). I got so many compliments on this funky top! Don't forget to move the ribbons out of the way on the toilet and on escalators.

Such a fun top! It takes a bit of adjusting when first putting it on to get all of the straps looking ok, but then it's comfortable and easy to wear for the rest of the day. Other reviewers mentioned that it was a bit tight at the top, so I sized up for my broad shoulders and that was the right choice. I think my normal size would have fit but not as comfortably. The rest of the top is quite roomy but still manages to be fairly flattering. Can be worn with a strapless bra. I would like to rent again with the matching pants!

I would rent again but size up. The zipper is under the arm and it was rubbing me.

This top is really fun. I paired it with the matching pants in another look (photo on review of the pants). Boyfriend hates the top but loves the pants! I sent the top back but I'm keeping the pants because I have a sexier outfit in mind. Here I wore a red bodycon dress underneath as a skirt to bring out the red in the top. It was really fun to wear but not the most flattering (gave me muffin pits).

I rented the two piece outfit for a Board/theater event and split it to wear to work also! Top fit was perfect, not too tight for me. Loved the swingy asymmetrical look. I threw a black cashmere shrug over the top when I got chilly. When I paired with matching pants I styled with a trench and red stilettos. It is surprisingly versatile! Loved.

I saw this top and fell instantly in love!! It is one of my favorite pieces ever and why I love RTR so much!! I received compliments from literally every person around..... and bonus, it came new with tags!! Definitely needs to be paired with skinny pants-fit is tts and very flattering for shoulders- Rent it now.... if it's ever available again!!

Great colors lighter material - flows nicely

I bit balloon-y, but that's the point. I thought it looked equally great with wide pants as it did with skinny ones. Might need a quick steam when you get it since it's long and the fabric wrinkles a bit, but did fine when I wore it.

Tight above bust- loose everywhere else - I should shave sized up so the material would not gather around my bust Other than that - I love it !

Fits snug at the top but plenty of room for the chest area. Fits nicely and nice fabric.

Fit was pretty true to size. If you have a larger chest area you would most likely need to size up!

Fit well. I'm shorter so the side part really went far down. But funky and a perfect top to rent since I wouldn't buy it!

This top is super cute straight on but terribly unflattering from the side, especially if you're busty. It billows our more than it would on a less busty figure. That said, I wore it to dinner at friends. Had to stop in the grocery on the way there and I got lots of looks. Still, it was fun to wear and I loved how different it is.

Looked great w jeans as a statement top

I got the matching top and pants. It was cold so I wore a long sleeve half shirt under it. It is a really nice outfit. FTTS. Can be worn with tennis shoes or heels. I wore this more than once and hated having to send it back.

The cut of this piece was extremely flattering and it's just a great look with jeans. I unfortunately could not get the hang of how the ties went, but the beauty of this top, is that doesn't matter. I really liked this top, too bad I couldn't get the pants.

I got this shirt to wear on a date and it did not disappoint, I paired it with black moto leggings and booties with a teddy bear coat for a luxe, warm look in the fall. I'm sure this will be great to wear to brunch as well.
