I didn’t notice the hook and eyes on the front closure until I wore this the second time.

I had high hopes for this blazer but in the end I found it had issues that made it a mediocre rental for me. 

First, it is a thick cotton that cheapens the overall feel. The weft of the weave is a little loose in a way that feels sloppy rather than intentional. That, combined with the boxy shape left it feeling a little cheap. If it had narrower shoulders and higher cut arms, it would look more polished. Overall, it was a tad large for me.

The buttons were charming but non functional- it has hook and eye closures that did not stay closed. I did love the ruffles on the cuff and bottom hem- they gave it a little more character.
