I rented this dress to have an easy, toss it on summer dress, and it fills the bill perfectly. It's nice and long. It's lightweight, and it has pockets! I love this style of dress from Marine Layer, and especially like that this one has pockets which not all of them do. This one definitely fills a need in my summer wardrobe, so I bought it.

This dress was so light and airy, such a perfect Summer dress. Easy wear to run errands or for a walk on the beach / at the park, traveling, really anything. I initially put a belt with it because I don’t always love such a flowy dress on myself but this actually wasn’t so bad, I’d be willing to wear it without. Didn’t love the stripes going both ways so I just ended up wearing it for errands but it truly is such a great throw on. Also has pockets! I’d say true to size if you like the extra room & flowingness of the dress but could definitely size down one size, especially if petite.

Fabulous dress! First style from the Marine Layer brand, very soft, easy to wear. Throw on a sweater on top for cool evenings and you are all set. It can be dressed up or dress down depending on which event you’re wearing to. The fit was absolutely perfect.

This is a great comfy dress for a hot day. It runs big… I’m typically a large and wore a M and it’s still roomy. I’d say it’s not the most flattering dress, but it was great for lounging around by the pool

You know you picked a good one when your kids friends complement you! This was a great dress to wear around the house or run errands in. Very easy to put on. I could also see it being used as a bathing suit cover up. Will definitely rent again.

I know others love this dress, but it wasn’t flattering on me. Great material, so easy to throw on, but I think it should be pretty too. Colors were blah. Agree that it would work as a beach cover up.

super soft. easy to wear every day. throw it on for coffee, wear as beach cover up, lounge around like a mumu, throw on a jean jacket for lunch. want to buy this one.

The xs probably would have fit better but the small was fine. I wore it several times. It is very casual as expected.

This was my absolute favorite thing I brought on a recent beach vacation. I got tons of use out of it for sunny daytime outings, casual dinners, and even as a swimsuit coverup. If I travelled more, I'd buy this without hesitation.

I wore this so much. It's so comfy and at 34 weeks pregnant I really appreciated the loose fit. Highly recommend if you're looking for casual and comfortable.

I wore the dress multiple times. I’m not sure why I returned it. it’s easy to just throw onto run errands or to go out to dinner and it does not wrinkle easy plus you can wear a regular bra with it

This is gauzy and soft. Unlined but not see-through. I wouldn’t call it flattering but it’s not UNflattering. I love it for around the house and running hot summer errands like cruising the farmers market. I just might buy it.

I love that this dress has pockets but they do cause the skirt to puff out a bit. It’s an easy summer dress, though, with super soft fabric.

I’m obsessed with the comfort of this dress! It’s so easy to just throw it on and go. I am definitely a size large in most cases, but in this one I would like to try a medium because the arm holes gaped a bit and the vee in the back dipped below my bra when I sat down. I want to try more Marine Layer dresses now because this one has been so fun!

Recommend sizing down (usually a medium and wore a small). Perfect for casual summer outfit and beach outings. I wore on my honeymoon to dinner and also the next day as a cover up. Material is substantive but not too heavy. Pockets are a plus!!
