Petaline Kara Dress

This is by far the most comfortable and cute lightweight dress ever!!!

Wore this to a day trip to Arches/Canyonland, it’s short, light weight, and perfect for traveling and looking put together. I loved it.

I wore it to a bridal shower and it was perfect. I loved the length (short, but good on someone short). Super flattering and loved the pattern.

Wore it twice. It’s ok. Comfy for a throw over and no fuss outfit. It’s very baggy in the material. It’s meant to be that way I guess. This would be a nice maternity dress for someone who’s on the smaller size but has a good size tummy. Or a smaller plus size. In the photos most people are holding the dress down or back. That’s not how it naturally lays. Great length. I enjoyed it the 2 times I wore it but don’t think I’d get it again.

I would size down as it’s pretty loose fitting

I loved this dress. It was slightly big with a lot of fabric but I think the way it laid made it still flattering and very comfortable. There was more room in the arm holes than I would have liked, maybe sizing down would have fixed that.

Fit nice without too much extra fabric as it is a loose fit silhouette.

Ok. I know it says this is a dress but for those are long legged and/or have a short torso, consider wearing shorts underneath. I don’t in my pictures but I did when I left the house! Very flattering and comfortable.

This style is not flattering on me. I'm petite and ordered the xs but it was still big. I loved the print but wouldn’t rent it again.

This dress didn’t do much for me. It was too short on me (I’m 5’8) I had to wear shorts underneath. But it was also too wide everywhere else so it wasn’t super flattering. It was fine for a pool party at my house but I wouldn’t get it again

I wore this so many times throughout the month. To work with a blazer, on vacation, to my son's preschool graduation, etc. This is one of my favorite pieces from RTR ever! So comfortable and versatile!

It's cute but the style is big, flowy and wavy. I felt like a potato sack. Cute and fun details but probably best on tall, slender person.

Comfortable dress with cute print. The ruffle sleeves were a bit too oversized at times but you get used to it. Wore this a few times for different occasions and to work.

I loved it so I bought it! Colorful and fun with unique, slightly puffy cap sleeves. Received many compliments. Looks great with white tennis shoes or kitten heels

I was looking for a tunic style top to wear with skinny jeans and some newer fabulous and detailed cowboy boots to a Barn Dance music festival. I intended to just wear it for daytime and change for the evening, but was enjoying it so much I just wore it all day and night. The reviews said it was short. I hoped to order a small to have more tunic effect (I have been wearing closer to a LG so far in some RTR styles), but the only one available was the medium. It was a bit too big but still worked well enough to wear. This is a lovely piece: I would love to buy it in a small. Was perfect for dancing for many hours and kept me cool in the warmer daytime. The fabric is gorgeous.

Nice fabric and very flowy. Great option for wearing outdoors in the summer. It is quite boxy, but that is just the style of the dress. Be aware it is pretty short! I'm only 5'1 and it was short on me so I can imagine if you're tall this dress would be extremely short. Cute overall!

I wore it to brunch with girlfriends several times and to a museum day as well. Light, comfy and great for hot summer days. It is short if you are tall, but not too short.

Wore this multiple times, would definitely keep it if it weren't so expensive. Beautiful print, got tons of compliments from both strangers and friends. The fit is somewhat loose/boxy, which is perfect for my frame. Plenty of room in the bust and waist probably could have even sized down. There are a lot of dresses that basically look like this, but the split collar makes this dress unique: The stiffness of the fabric and the way the elastic is used create more structure in the collar whether open or closed. The split dips pretty low so I wore a bralette (over my bra) in some situations, and sometimes closed the hook-and-eye closure at the top to create a neat, narrow keyhole. Can easily be dressed up or down, perfect for most things!

Light, airy and versatile for summer - can be dressed up or down! I wore it to a business casual event with the clasps closed at the top, and then wore it to drinks with friends with the clause undone making a deep, flatter v-neck Almost kept this one - it’s simple but it’s that good!
