This dress was the most beautiful dress. It fit in all the right places. I got so many compliments at the officer gala. I am a size 4 weigh 136 and wore a size 4R.

Beautiful dress! Looks even better in person. The fit was perfect- gave an hourglass shape without being too tight. I was able to dance all night!

Received multiple compliments all night. This was such a beautiful dress, I’m so happy I was able wear this art. It boosted my confidence! Hugged my curves perfectly<3 Was a bit long for me, I wore 3” wedges too. Had to lift the dress’ skirt up a little bit when going upstairs, but walking around was fine. My chest *just* fit in this dress too, definitely not enough stretch to help me out since I have a bigger bust, so I got lucky!

Love this dress. Length is perfect. And cinches the waist. Worn to a cultural appropriate wedding with a blazer.

LOVE the fit of this dress! I’m usually an 8 or 10, I ordered both, I wore the 8 but both were comfortable - just felt a little more snatched in the 8! Tons of compliments and I really did feel fantastic all night.

Looked very ornate without being too complicated. Was between two sizes and went with the bigger so as not to worry about bloating or moving around. Felt very comfortable!

Loved this dress as an emergency backup when my original order never arrived. Fit perfectly and was comfortable for dancing, drinking, and eating!

It was a tiny bit snug at the top, in the back but fine for sitting, dancing, just need help with the zipper at the top. The straps are long so you might have to pin them. I'm 5'5" and dress was to my feet. I felt good in the dress and thought it was beautiful.

This fit perfectly and I could wear 2-3” heels without it hitting the floor - a big win for a short queen like me. Could work in the summer or winter given its black and has a floral print. Love!

The straps were slightly long on me and kept slipping off. I had to use safety pins to secure them to my bra strap. Dress was perfect length on me with heels.

received this dress as a replacement in case the original one i wanted didn’t come in time (thank you RTR!!) both dresses ended up coming on time so it worked out perfectly. i wore this dress to the rehearsal dinner and i loved it. the fabric is so pretty up close. it fit very well, i feel like i could’ve sized down but that may have been too tight. overall it was great for a couple hours at dinner!

Worn to a “fall garden formal” wedding and I got many compliments! It does not have any stretch but it fit well, just had to scoot it up a little to sit down. Dancing was not a problem!

Beautiful dress. Ordered size 12 and 14, and ended up wearing the 14. I needed to wear platform heels otherwise it would have been too long but it wasn't a problem. Highly recommend it!

Wore this dress to a black tie wedding and received a ton of compliments! I wore a shrug for the church ceremony for a little more modesty. I found the fit TTS - my normal size fit me in the bust but was looser through the waist and hips which is pretty typical for my body type. The straps are not adjustable but it was not a problem for me. There is an illusion slip on the inside that goes down to about the knee. Be careful with jewelry and other things that may snag. Overall a fun look and was so happy I rented!

I rented this dress for a wedding and loved it! It was a bit tight on my hips so I took a star off but I recommend it

Gorgeous dress that got lots of compliments. I’m on the shorter side and the dress was definitely long but was able to make it work with 3.5 inch heels. I am usually a size 2 and went with a 0 and was pleased with the fit!

I loved this dress so much! The truth is that I ordered a different marchesa dress and the one that I ordered and the back up did not fit. Luckily, I contacted RTR and they were amazing and let me order a new dress plus a different back up dress. The new dress was this one! I felt well supported in the top and the straps stayed up nicely. It was mostly tight just around my hips, but I was still able to sit and dance. I really loved the dress and got a lot of compliments at the wedding.

wonderfully long and worked for a California outdoor wedding. however, a padded bra didn’t even help me fill out the top for size 4 (I’m a 34B). the waist is high, but also wide, so it left some gaps between the bodice and my body. I wouldn’t rent again for my body type.

I wore the size 4 regular to a formal wedding. It’s a dang miracle I fit into this dress and wore it as well as I did. I am 50yrs old, 36B chest, 133lbs (but fluffy gut and bigger booty). I loved this gown and received many compliments. The size 4 was my back up, I had ordered a 6. The 6 would have fit my midsection much better but it was way too big in the bust. Also, someone before me had MACHINE HEMMED (wtf!?!) the bottom of the dress which absolutely ruined the beautiful silhouette of this dress. Thank goodness I was able to wear the 4 with the help of some very strong shape-wear or I would’ve been out of luck. The dress is loooooong. I am 5’3” and I wore 3” heels and the fabric still lightly dusted the floor. I could’ve used an extra ½ inch of height and it would’ve been perfect. All in all I liked this dress. I felt good. I think shorter folks will drown in it - Beware! I think it is friendly to body shapes that aren’t rail thin but probably not super curvy.

Went with the bigger of the two sizes, but great dress for a black tie wedding at an art museum!

I wanted to love this bc the embroidery is beautiful, but there was too much material with the lining around the waist and honestly just everywhere. I don't think its the size as much as its just more for taller people with a different build. I would recommend this more for winter bc it would get really hot in summer

I have an athletic small on top, largest on bottom slightly curvy fit, and this just didn’t do it for me. The waist, straps, and chest were too big for my frame, but it was too tight across the hips and butt. A larger size would have just been impossibly large on top, as I almost slipped out of the top a few times in the night. Gorgeous embroidery though and it would be stellar for someone whose measurements perfectly align!

I got this as a backup dress and did not wear it to the wedding. It was pretty but not great on me. The 16 was too large in the top and would have needed tape to hold it in place. The 14 hugged me, but not quite in the right way. The horizontal neckline, belt line, and again at the lower thigh created a choppy effect on me - I felt like a potato. Length on both was good. The colors are red/yellow/green with white edging on a black background (in the photos there appears to be more pink and soft green - an illusion). Gorgeous dress but not for me.

Worn for a formal wedding and received so many compliments. You can see and feel the craftsmanship that went into this dress. Gorgeous. I'm an A-cup and definitely needed some help up front, but otherwise fit like a glove through the midsection. I'm right at 5'6" and needed the higher 3-inch heel. The 2-inch heel had the dress just above the floor.

This dress is beautiful. Loved that I didn’t need to wear a bra with it. I opted for another dress because the temps were so low, but will rent another time in the future !
