Embroidered Ruffled Maxi Dress

Wore this to my bridal shower and it was beautiful. There was slight gapping with one of the buttons but not too bad

The dress was a little big, one size down would have been perfect. It was still beautiful and very well made. A little too low cut for work so I only wore it out with a friend.

Wore for a spring baby shower and it was the perfect dress for the occasion. The eyelet hem is a really nice detail and the deeper neckline balanced the conservative cut of it all. NEED A SLIP!!! It's technically lined but you need nude undies + slip for actual coverage. Fit was snug through hips which created a little pooch with the tiered fabric but I didn't think it was unflattering. Otherwise there's a weird metal drawstring pull on the inside of the sleeves that was bizarre and went unused (detail overkill).

Kind of a typical white dress everywhere, so the hemline makes it extra cute

I LOVED this dress - I ended up wearing this every chance I got, even just to putter around the house feeling fancy. But it's comfortable and fresh too! The sleeves have an adjustable elastic so they can be more like wings or gathered puff sleeves, and the lace is really pretty, with great pin-tuck details everywhere. Enjoyed it by itself, layered over dresses and shirts, with light shirts tied over the top of it, with sandals, with heels, with cute tennies. Super versatile. Might recommend sizing up so you get the good drape. My rating approach: (5=LOVE LOVE; 4=Will rent again, a couple of details I would change; 3=Works but meh; 2=Won't rent again, but may work in some cases; 1=This should be burned). I am on RTR to try new styles and find sizes for my post-menopausal weight/body shape.

I'm 38 around the hips and size 36 was perfect. Smaller size would have fit weird with the drop waist. Im 5'8 so this may be too long on someone shorter than 5'6

Wish the bottom ring was stretchy like the back of the waist band if you have curvy hips, it fits a bit weird but I still wore it and loved!

Perfect for an outdoor photo shoot in the 80° July weather. I am between 6 and 8, and glad I ordered up a size to 8 (AKA 40) for a breezy fit. Not too sheer, wore with nude underwear and adhesive nipple covers.

Runs big so size down. Looks great with cowboy boots.

Cuteee and the appliqué on the hem is just stunning. it’s very fabric heavy but fits well. I felt like a chic euro babe. wore this walking around in portugal and also on the plane. very comfy. buttons are flimsy though.

Gorgeous dress. Some gapping on the buttons, so maybe size up if you’re between sizes.

Love a white dress for summer! This dress is really comfortable and easy to wear. Love the lace at the bottom. It's a little big around the waist but fixed it by adding a belt which made it work. Worth the rental and would be great for vacation.

Lined, drop waist, long...petites need pump or heel.

Love everything Maje makes. Thus dress was gorgeous but ran large. Would’ve swapped it for a smaller size if I could pull of prairie chic

Has two waists — one being a drop waist which is snug around your mower mid section. Unless you’re super skinny I don’t recommend unless you size up.

The design of the dress is beautiful but it fit really odd and could not wear it. I would suggest sizing up so it fits more relaxed like it is shown on the model or better for someone without curves.

Neckline is very deep and waistline sat low on me (even with longer torso). The top is not too see through, couldn’t see nude bra but almost unwearable due to plunging neckline

This dress did not fit well and I did not end up wearing. It was more snug than anticipated and perhaps I should have sized up. It also gapped around the buttons and overall not flattering.

Only lined on the bottom so I added a cami as the top was too sheer for me. Runs big so I'd size down next time.

I wore this on a day date with my mom and it was perfect. Flattering white dress! I loved the bottom detail. I also didn’t realize that the sleeves have a bungee pull inside so you can adjust them which was cute. The only issue is that causes some wrinkles that were hard to get out, but it wasn’t that noticeable.

I received many compliments on this dress both at work and at a family gathering. It fit well, though I did wear a bra cover since it was a bit too low cut for work for me - but I am very chesty.

Lovely white dress, fits TTS; many fussy buttons (and the one I rented had already popped one of its buttons) and many interior layers, making pretty hot for summer. Nevertheless, I bought it; it’s gorgeous.

This was a bit heavy and large but it was fun to mix into my work and work event wardrobe. Didn’t understand the point of the adjustable sleeves but it was pretty overall.

Fits very well, just gaped a bit at the waist so I had to safety pin it but otherwise a very flattering and elegant dress

This one was hard to return! So elegant and beautiful.

I imagined this would fit well, and it did but it has a weird lining that stops at hip me goth and causes a weird hip bulge. The lace detail is gorgeous. The bottom of the dress is very heavy in comparison to the top. It feels as if the bodice is being dragged down by the weight of the skirt. Uncomfortable.

I wore this to work and would definitely rent it again! I got a lot of compliments and it’s a great summer dress.

Fun dress but seems to be very loved (coming apart). My kids were also very complimentary of it :)
