Love Madewell but this dress is really tempting me to buy my first piece! So flattering and love the open back. It has incredible stretch

Didn’t realize it had a low back so not ideal for work, but it was great for a 4th of July bbq and dinner out on a work retreat. Lightweight and dropwaist is flattering. Would rent again!

The poplin material feels great. The size is flexible bc of the ruching. I don’t think you could wear a normal bra so I wore cakes and it was perfect for my medium amount of cleavage. This blue was gorgeous and it created a great waist for me: always a priority. Comfortable too.

I bought this dress as there is a lot of love about it. The high-quality fabric is a nice weight and a beautiful blue color. I have no issues wearing a bra with the scoop in the back. It is comfortable and flattering. It runs true to size. Pockets in a dress are always a win!

wore to work with a blazer and mule slip-on shoes, then left the blazer at the office and wore it to a concert with brown leather sandals and a matching crossbody. (perfect for day to night!) Super comfy for a hot, work summer day in DC! Probably best to wear a strapless or racerback bra to avoid having to adjust straps!

Wore this to a work conference in San Diego. It worked well as a transitional piece from day to happy hour at night. It was comfy and easy to wear. The medium fit perfect, as I’m between a 4-6. Can’t wear a bra because of the scoop back.

Easy to throw this on with heels and earrings to dress up or flats for comfy vibe. No bra needed. Bodice is stretchy and the skirt lays nicely. Gave only 4 stars because the shape it gives your waist and torso is just meh.

The smocking top is very flattering. Comfortable simple to wear with sandals or also add a blazer for work.

Nothing special, the skirt was awkward and it was a lot longer than expected.

The dress was fine in person, but not anything amazing. I wore it to work and to a brunch. I probably should have sized down b/c the bottom of the dress was a little big. It was also pretty long on me as well

Love the fit, the color, the texture

This dress has a low back so I was not able to wear with a bra, but the bodice is tight enough without being restrictive to go braless. I’m pretty short, so this dress was maxi length on me. I wore several times.

Loved throwing this on! I instantly felt so put together even with it feeling very casual. Size was great, could also have probably worked with the size down.

Chic and effortless

This is one of the most flattering dresses I’ve worn! For someone with a bigger bust, I was nervous it would look weird but it did not! Super comfortable and perfect length for someone short

This was a 10/10 for me. I have worn it several times, and may also consider buying. I have worn it to work, to July 4th fireworks, and hopefully vacation too. It is a perfect fit and color.

Beautiful fit and so comfy! It was an easy dress to put on while running errands and just having a quiet day with my kiddo. Dress works well chasing after dogs and kids! lol

Fit is true to size and soooo comfy. Stretchy material and flow of the dress makes for perfect summer dress!

I loved this dress! It's a gorgeous color and was very easy to style. My only beef is that the high neckline dug a bit into my neck. I have a small chest so it wasn't too bad. But if you have a larger chest, just be aware.

Paired with a cardigan you have an elevated look!

I am tall and long waisted and this fit perfectly, so I purchased. I imagine if you are not this would be a miss.
