Dr. Varley Tweed Mini Dress

I sized up based on the reviews and was happy with the fit. This dress looks and feels expensive. Really pretty pink color. Modest length. Comfortable/easy to wear.

It’s just a really beautiful dress. It’s memorable, so I probably wouldn’t purchase it or hold on to it for too long unless you plan to use it in multiple settings. Only complaint: the lining kept showing for me (see photo). I just decided to ignore it. I went 1 dress size up to avoid it being too tight on my lower half (rented it before other reviews were available) and I think that was the right choice for my work setting. However, I do think you could stick to your true size (especially if you do not have a pear or hourglass body type).

Super cute yet professional. Loved it. A smidge tight in the arms and chest-something to think about if you are busty and have bigger arms like me.

I wore this to work and I ABSOLUTELY loved it. I wish I could have bought it I loved it so much. The fit is great and it has thicker material.

I wore this to a campaign fundraiser and got so many compliments! I'm usually a 4, but had to size up to get this to zip. I wore it in nearly 90 degree heat and was afraid the tweed would be to hot but it was perfect.

I liked this dress but there is no stretch in the material. It fit true to size and was great length for taller girls.

This dress has a built in slip and for some reason the end of the slip was a bit longer than the dress so it popped out occasionally — otherwise super cute and classy!

My husband wanted me to buy it, but for the price it wasn’t worth it because the lining was a tad longer than the dress (you can see in the picture I uploaded). Other than the lining the feet was great! I love the style and the buttons!

This dress is so flattering! It hugs all of the right places. Very heavy material.

Feminine and sophisticated. Great for work, dinner out and many other occasions. Another sticky zipper so be sure you have someone to help you. It was just fiddly not too tight.

Perfect for two board meetings. Great length and fabulous fit with pockets. It was difficult to zip and slightly tight around the neck area, but once on it fit great.

Not too heavy for the warmer seasons. Well made and classic!

I should have sized down, I maybe could have sized down to an 8, but the loose fit looked fine too.

Runs small. I’m between a size 4 and 6. Got the six and it was fine but no wiggle room. 4 definitely would not have fit. Material has zero stretch

I received several compliments about this dress and came with the tags on. "I love your Chanel dress" to "That's so Jackie-O". It really was great quality and fit great. I would recommend. Classic elegant work dress.
